About
The Castle is a period themed facility with events running throughout the year. The first is the Award Winning Oklahoma Renaissance Festival. Each year, guests will journey back to 1569 England. This event is fun for the entire family and runs for six weekends each spring! In the summer, the Castle converts to Fireworks season. The showroom for of the Castle features 30,000 sq ft of indoor air conditioned shopping. Each Friday & Saturday in October, the Castle hosts a Halloween Festival. Thrill seekers may visit any of the 9 haunted attractions. Haunts range anywhere from not so scary to very scary! In November, they step back in time once again to host the annual Boare's Head Feaste. Attendees shall dine amongst royalty while enjoying a traditional Renaissance Thanksgiving. From Thanksgiving through New Years Eve, visitors may enjoy Castle Christmas. This event is a drive thru experience of lights and inflatables. The Great Hall is open on select evenings as well.

    Best time ever!
We had a great time! Go early saves time, lines are short. We had the best time. The trail of blood terrified my group. The newest haunt Jester's Revenge is brightly colored and will scare your equilibrium.

    Unique and Exciting
My family has attended Renaissance festival here in the spring, so we decided to try the Haunted Castle this fall. We love that entry to the castle is free (save for the highly-recommended “vip” parking for $10). We purchased the Spooky package with “fast pass” option to four of the scariest events. (Pro-tip: Secure online to save standing at the ticket booth!!). It was a tall expense, but each of our kiddos highly enjoyed the experience. We will be back next year! This venue truly remains a unique and exciting experience for new guests and long term repeat visitors (ask about the Friends of Festival membership).

    Worth the drive
I cannot say enough how happy I am to go to the Castle each year. Even though we drive hours to get there my family loves it. We enjoy the lights, the people, and this year a new thing we enjoyed were smores. So yummy! The Castle is a gem in the area and we are fortunate to be able to enjoy it.

    Take your time
I just discovered this place and am so happy I did. I took my family and we spent hours enjoying the activities. My suggesting to anyone attending is to not be in a rush. Give yourself the evening to simply enjoy all that it has to offer. I plan to return.

Ive worked and been a patron of the Castle since 2005. It is an amazing attraction with plenty to do on your own or with friends/family. The 2 big events of the year are the Renaissance Faire in May and the Haunted Castle in October. The Renaissance faire in my opinion is definitely a first class event. It has amazing food, small merchants with wild treasures, beautiful garb, and but the actors of the Castle are the true treasure. They devote so much of their lives to these characters. Most spend the entire year preparing, sewing, practicing and planning their characters for the faire. Its not much different at haunted castle. An amazing fun and atmosphere. Can be very scary but it also fun as heck. Great characters, lots of jumps and screams. Just a fun time.

Id definitely try both events atleast once. They are completely worth it.

This place was just okay. The costumes were great but I thought admission was a little high considering that you have to pay for literally everything once you get in. Pony ride was $8. Escape room $5. $15 for a lemonade and some fries. Plus all the tipping performers. The grounds and castle are pretty run down. But I don’t regret going, I can mark it off my list- but I don’t think I’d go back.

Absolut waist of money we went for the christmas lights and half of the lights were not working it looked like someone went yard selling to buy them. not to mention wen we went through and didn't donate the guy yelled at us. the roads were bad had huge potholes and the prices were out of hand, the buildings were falling apart. they had exposed wires running the lights it looked tacky.

This was our first time to go to the Renaissance Festival, it was so much fun. I love all the buildings; it gives it a real town feel. There was so much to see and do, and all the costumes everyone had on were great. There was a lot of entertainment. Make sure to watch the jousting. The grounds have a lot of big, beautiful trees making lots of shady areas. Tickets were 25 at the gate and 20 if you purchased it online ahead of time. They have lots of parking and it is free to park We will go back,

Have went here for 20 years, we attended the Halloween event and did the hayride and zombie hunt (2 things we do every year) this year both attractions were MUCH shorter than usual and not great. The Hayride had a few people banging on some metal then jumping out behind the trailer we were in (and that was basically it), there was a girl toward the end of the trail that jumped out and I said come on up and sit beside us (just as a joke as the hayride was pretty empty) and this worker gave me the middle finger!!!! Not what we paid for AT ALL. Zombie hunt switched to a few animatronics and it was short and boring. Totally not worth the prices they charge now. This was always my favorite place to go but might not attend again after this experience.

It has been 3 years since we last visited the Castle at Christmas as we liver a couple of hours away, and it was very disappointing this trip. Most of the buildings do not even have lights on them like last time. Plus, the ones that are lit up, several bulbs are missing and very poorly decorated. It seems that they just threw all the blow ups right by the road (no depth and very dark down the roads you cannot access). You can no longer park in the parking lot at the end, instead it is very dark with some frosted over very poorly decorated domes that you can rent. You now must park in a muddy parking lot (wear your boots). Hot Chocolate was definitely not hot. On the bright side, the merchants inside were very friendly.

This was our third time to the Halloween Festival since it started. And it’s been over a decade since the last time. There have been many improvements since. Can’t say it was actually worth the money, but I’m not mad at it either. We only went through two of the attractions.
