My wife and I, as well as a couple of our granddaughters, visited this museum. The admission price is $6 for adults and $2.50 for children. The museum is OK on the inside, but what makes it work the money is to visit the frontier...More

This isn't a huge place, and doesn't take loads of time but it's extremely interesting and educational. Experiencing and realizing the struggles of that time period are fascinating and is good for adults, teens and children to see and understand. Admission is cheap at $6...More

We can live with amazing (ha)! Our museum is child-friendly, however we encourage all ages to engage with the exhibits. They're built with a broad age range in mind.

Stopped here on family day after basic. The inside seemed more geared for younger children then teens. The outside made up for it, with a wonderful informative guide at the fort. He was full of info and interesting to visit with. Still spendy for a...More

Glad you visited, and that you found the outside area enjoyable. Visitors sometimes equate our interactive exhibits with a focus on children, but the exhibits can be enjoyed by adults as well as kids. Also, there is quite a bit in the galleries that is...More

The charge is worth it. It was educational and can be seen comfortably in an afternoon. They accommodated our handicapped people and we all learned something.

This is a nice museum, but we went to 4 others so expected a larger venue. But there were many outside exhibits so guess that makes it larger. The large wooden building that looks like a fort is really a replica of the trading post...More

I was at Fort Sill for my son's graduation from boot camp. I had a few extra hours to explore the area and went there. It was very educational and enjoyable. Kids would love it! Alot of hands on activities.
