Awesome place to visit!
Jul 2021
What a fun visit! My friends and I visited and received such a warm welcome and informative tour. Jeanna and Kathleen are wonderful, passionate and absolutely love these Alpacas. Besides just petting the Alpacas through a fence, we actually got to walk out in the field and be surrounded by them! They each have their own personality and it was so fun to learn about each of them. The tours are free, so stop in the gift shop to help support this family farm! What a special place this is!

Beautiful Alpacas
Jun 2021
This was such a fun place to visit! Jeanna was so welcoming and answered all of our many questions about their beautiful alpacas. We were worried it wouldn't be as good of a visit because it rained for a bit. But we were lucky because the alpacas wanted to come into the barn out of the rain and we visited with all of them at once inside the barn. We were able to feed and pet them. You have to make an appointment, so plan ahead. I think that's a small ask considering it's a free tour. We purchased some beautiful alpaca products in their shop. It was really a fun time!

Not fun and insulting
Jun 2021 • Friends
He made us pay $5 each and it said free on sign. Came off as rude and very standoffish. We were excited to be there and shut that down real fast. Go to the zoo!

Sadly, we received bad news about Tom's mother just prior to your visit. We were told your group was 12 people and it was not. The organizer was told about the fee for larger groups. I will gladly refund your $5 and that of anyone who paid it if they are also unhappy. Contact me at zena.impulse@gmail.com. Please let me know what was insulting to you and we will try to do better.

Great place to visit
Jul 2018 • Family
We took a ride out to the Alpaca farm today and my wife I were pleasantly surprised! They have over 40 Alpacas that you can feed and pet. The tour is free and they have a cool gift shop. Definitely check it out!

Amazing

I have always loved Llamas and Alpacas, all my friends and family can attest to that. So when I googled things to do in the area and this place popped up I screamed and my husband knew we were going. You do need to call for an appointment to visit and get a tour because it is an actual farm and is owned and operated by a husband and wife and one of their lovely neighbors. We called that morning and they were able to squeeze us in. It was so much fun. The female alpacas were out grazing and just out and about. We were greeted and started the tour. I learned a lot about these adorable animals and got to let them as well. It’s so neat to see. They have a cute souvenir shop that has all sorts of things made locally by the owner from the alpaca wool and some things made from her friends in Peru! We had such a wonderful time! I would recommend this to anyone at any age. There was a family there before us that had small children and an older couple as well. My husband and I are late 20s and we loved it.

Jun 2018 • Family
I had a short amount of time and when i drove all the way out there their signs says by appointment only. It would have been nice to have this information up front. Because it wasnt listed on this website. i didnt see anywhere except for one small place on their websitd that says call for availability.

Beautiful alpacas!
Apr 2018 • Family
The our provided a thorough background of alpacas and their temperament, etc. We were able to touch and feed them and she has a beautiful farm. The shop was full of items made from the yarn from these animals. Something that she had made, other locals and some that was fair trade from Peru. Definitely worth your time.

Wonderful visit!
Apr 2018 • Family
We really enjoyed visiting the Alpaca Farm. She was very informative, and we were able to Pet and Feed the alpacas. The gift shop was amazing, it was hard to decide what items to purchase. We're bringing our family back here in June and will definitely make it a stop with our grandchildren.

Really special place!

We visited alpaca ranch and were treated like old friends. The owner took a great amount of time with us and educated us on these wonderful animals! Our visit was not during regular season but that did not affect the sweet reception we received.

Mother Daughter Weekend Visit
Oct 2017 • Family
My daughter and I were looking for something to do near by while staying at Shangri la on Monkey Island since we aren't golfers. We called ahead and scheduled a tour. Tom & Kathleen are the best! It's currently free to visit the Alpaca Ranch. It's not flashy or showy but you get to interact with the alpacas and learn so much about them! I plan on brining my mother and grandmother here sometime. We did leave a donation before leaving which we were more than happy to do. We spent about 1.5 hrs here but your visit probabaly depends on how many questions you ask. We also loved the little gift shop! 💜

How nice of you to write this review! We love our visitors so much that time just flies and I am such a talker and storyteller! Perhaps the alpacas like visitors so much since it means they get to hear someone else talk? Such beautiful weather, perfect for alpacas and people. Well, I am off to open the door this morning—they are loving the grass (and my flowers.) thank you for your visit and the nice donation.
