First cemetery you see upon driving into the fort. Quanah Parker's mom (Cynthia Ann Parker and his sister Prairie Flower Parker) are buried beside him. Their stones all match which is a sweet touch. This cemetery is well maintained (of course, it's on a base)...More

This is a must stop for both Quanah Parker and others that are buried in this grave. Very well maintained.

Be sure to notice Quanah's mother's and sister's graves as well as the other chiefs buried in the same area.

Hard to find, but the cemetery site is peaceful and interesting. Worth the drive, if you can get on base.

Yes, you have to check in at visitor center and get a pass. They check ID and do a quick background check.
