And only $5 for admission which includes neighboring museum on the same grounds. The museum will bring back memories of how Route 66 was in its glory days.

what a neat place to stop and check out. If you like history then this is your place. has statue of Steer & a Horse, old general store, school from like 1923. It's a bunch of store fronts from back in the day and you walk them like you walk our strip stores in our own town. Interesting and good... More

We stayed in Elk City specifically to visit this delightful step back in time complex. Our main focus was the Route 66 Museum but there were other historical recreated buildings there too. The Route 66 Museum has wonderful displays of cars and motorcycles through the years. There are other exhibits such as a Popeye Collection, a mock drive in set... More

We had wanted to check out the Route 66 Museum in Clinton, but wound up near there later than their hours. We decided to stay overnight near the National Route 66 Museum and check it out first thing in the morning. Overall, the museum was good for the $4 AAA entry fee ($5 regular admission/$4 Seniors). Some of the other... More

Wonderful and large museum that covers the history of Route 66. This museum is very interactive. There are classic set up that you can take a drive down the original Route 66 or take in a classic movie like the blob, at least for five minutes. The museum covers a large area and includes several exhibits including classic cars, culture,... More
