About
We are a community of people who believe that a calm mind and relaxed body provides the human spirit with the framework to live better, more fulfilling lives. Without the burdens of overstimulation, stress, and pain we can perform at hight levels, be better to those around us, and love with our whole soul. Our mission is to be a healing and relaxation resource for the community; to provide people with the tools to be the happiest, most efficient and loving version of themselves. The more that we are able to help people with these things, the more they are able to help those around them to feel the same way. As our community grows, we will face less and less overstimulation, stress and pain. We are so grateful to initiate this process with floatation therapy.

I started going here after hearing it could help with Fibromyalgia pain. In 10 weeks I was able to discontinue some of my meds it worked so well! It is a great experience, the staff is wonderful, the rooms are set up well and the tea room is a nice touch!

I have been wanting to do a float at Float OKC since I learned about it some months ago. I wish I hadn't waited so long! I went today because I need to make some life decisions and was hoping to gain clarity. I got so much more.

Float OKC has a really nice spa atmosphere. It was quiet and peaceful the moment I walked in. I was shown the facility, instructed about showering, how the music and light in the tank works. They also explained that they provide a fresh pack of earplugs and a new package of ointment in case you have any cuts or scrapes on your body that you don't want the salt to burn/sting. They provide two bath towels, two face towels, clean shower shoes and a private shower right in your own private float tank room. They also have a fresh water spray bottle in the pod in case you get salt water in your eyes and a floaty for your neck in case you find it hard to relax your head comfortably.

I was there for total sensory deprivation so I didn't use the music or light. I tried to lay in the water and think but after a bit of time I found all of my thoughts slipping away. I was comfortably, superbly numb. After some time I popped out of my deep state of relaxation and wondered how long I had been in the water. Not too long after that thought, the water bubbles a bit to let me know my time was up. It was a peaceful way to bring me to awareness which I greatly appreciated.

Afterward I showered and went to their tea room to relax and gain my wits. It is pleasantly lit with a vast number of teas to choose from. It was a great space to sit and think about my experience.

Their rates are fantastic and I simply can't think of a better way to spend an hour or my money. I feel like I got a massage, chiropractic adjustment and meditation session in all one.

Go make your appointment ASAP if you are looking for relaxation, peace and quiet or to help manage any number of physical/mental issues you might be dealing with. I'll be back soon for sure!

I have been here twice as part of my pain management regimen. Just awesome.

Staff is friendly and remembered me.

Facilities are clean and inviting.

Really enjoyed the Tea Room. The Harney & Sons Tropical Green tea is now my favorite. The mixture of green tea and pineapple is refreshing.

Booking an appointment online is most likely a must.

This is a relaxation must! I've had a membership to OKC float for four months now, and I must say, it is one of the most rewarding memberships I have been part of. The facility is spotless. The staff is beyond accommodating and will answer any and all questions about OKC float thoroughly. I come out of my float session feeling relaxed, yet rejuvenated. Dont forget to enjoy a hot(or cold) cup of tea after your float, an added bonus!

I have floated here twice now. I love how friendly and informative the staff is. I love how clean the rooms and pods are. They think of everything... Down to makeup remover towelettes and contact cases. The relaxation is better than a massage (no small talk needed) and I come out feeling fantastic, pain free, and renewed. Try it for yourself!!

I received this as a birthday gift from my daughter. I googled Flotation Therapy. and had a basic understanding as to what was going to happen. After a short introduction as to what to do and what not to do. I showered and had to take out my contacts. I climbed into the pod, I opted to close the lid and to have no noise. Yea you really float. after getting used to hearing myself breath, and as my breathing swallowed I noticed how well I could hear my heart beating, as I relaxed even more, I could hear and tell when the blood was going back into the heart and when it was leaving. ( I know there is fancy medical terms for that action) but that was kinda of new for me. I soon become very relaxed and started to enjoy the inter peace that floating in a dark pod, with no noise, would allow one to reach. After a shower and putting my contacts back in, there is a tea room where one can enjoy a hot cup of tea in a very relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed it alot, I am not sure i would do one or two a month, like some have reported doing. Will I do it again, YES. I even bought one for my wife for Valentines Day.

We live in California and I work in the endurance sport industry.
I had just seen information regarding floating and reducing other stimulus regarding professional NBA players .
While visiting family in Edmond for the holidays, I came across float OKC.
Mental conditioning for athletes in any sport is part of the puzzle to maximize performance. Water has always been a part of rejuvenation for humans. The therapeutic effect is undeniable providing a calming effect. It's the zen of water . Go do it . Brent Allen endurance sport coach since 1997.

My wife and I came for the first time and I had no expectations. Well, laying weightless in a warm (body temperature) heavy salt solution with total darkness (you can have lighting if you prefer) was tremendous for total relaxation. I can't wait to go again.
