Celtic Throne may be the new king of Irish stepdance
The show is phenomenal. These high school and college students dance at a professional level, but the show is more than just dancing. Instrumental & vocal music too. Wonderful variety in performances. Completely family friendly. No worry about inappropriate content or costumes. I'll be seeing it again!
Thank you for your feedback! We are happy you enjoyed Celtic Throne's family friendly program. Looking forward to hosting you at Armstrong again!

    Celtic Throne Performance
Our first time to visit this auditorium, and we were not disappointed! Beautiful facility and the acoustics were great for performances. We saw the Celtic Throne, and the talent of these young adults and kids was amazing. Plenty of informed staff to help with doors, directions, history and parking. Small parking lots but the staff moved traffic in and out safely and quickly.
Thank you for visiting Armstrong, and for your kind remarks! We are thrilled that you enjoyed Celtic Throne and your introduction to our facility!

    Worth every penny!
Such a well done show. Loved the historical presentation starting with Jerusalem and ending in the USA. The dancing was superb. The singers were excellent, and I really appreciated the patriotic bent. The musicians made everything delightful. My 13-year-old granddaughter wants to put some of the songs on her Spotify…whatever that means! I am so glad you were able to bring this to an Edmond stage. Kudos to the director and his staff for making this 2 hours well worth the time and money! Par excellence!

    The. Absolute. Best.
The Armstrong Auditorium is excellent. The building is exquisite & very beautiful. The seating, even after a 2-hour show, was comfortable. There was ample parking, too. The best performance space I have ever had the opportunity to enjoy. Simply wonderful.

Joshua Roman took us all to Cello Church in a spectacular venue
Joshua Roman was masterful. His cello danced, sang, whistled, whispered, moaned, trembled and more. His love for the cello and music history were clear informative - well communicated, educational. He was reverent, completely at ease and humorous all at the same time. The Armstrong Auditorium is a spectacular venue with beautiful grounds, spacious parking, massive chandeliers in the lobby. It seemed every seat had an unobstructed view. Unforgettable evening.
Thank you for your kind remarks about Armstrong Auditorium! We are thrilled that you had an “unforgettable” evening. We hope to see you again in the future.

    A special treat
During the Pandemic, my husband discovered on YouTube that he loves the British a cappella group Voces8, so we were thrilled to have them come to Oklahoma. It was a delightful performance with outstanding arrangements done just for them. The Armstrong Auditorium is a beautiful venue and convenient for us with free nearby parking. A really special treat of an evening.
Thank you for showing your appreciation for the VOCES8 performance and our auditorium. We are glad to have provided you with an enjoyable evening.

Beautiful facility but needing one imporatnt change
This is an absolutely beautiful hall with an excellent, polite and helpful student staff. My only negative comment is that we were very surprised to discover thick padded carpeting all throughout the perfomance space. Given the great attention to detail throughout the building, I don't understand how acoustics were not taken equally into account. There was no reverb whatsoever which I feel sure makes it very hard on classical performers. I hope they will consider removing the carpet and addressing this issue, because it was such a fine venue otherwise, but this seems a fundamental need for a performance hall of this type. Again, I was very impressed with their well-trained student staff and the attractiveness of the building.

Armstrong Auditorium - a true gem in Oklahoma
This is a true gem of a venue north of Edmond, OK, proper. The acoustics are wonderful and the foyer and outside area is truly gorgeous. We were stunned by the virtuoso Le Consort French quartet tonight.
Thank you for sharing your experience at Armstrong Auditorium. We hope to see you again in the future.

    Comfortable, delightful evening
Always love the beautiful auditorium and the kind student ushers. The pie slices sold on the balcony at intermission are delicious (and all too tempting) The British guitar quartet proved talented both at playing and arranging their music. Pleasant variety in the program. Overall a comfortable and delightful evening.
Thank you so much for your glowing remarks about your evening at Armstrong Auditorium. We are happy to have served you and look forward to seeing you again soon!

Loved the acoustics of beautiful Armstrong Auditorium in Edmond, Oklahoma with the awesome sounds of the Glen Miller Orchestra original music of 80 years ago! Music still played like "Rhapsody in Blue and Moonlight Serenade" are beautiful. The 1930's & 40's music from WWII movies makes you want to dance, and cry. Music from the "Greatest Generation" that my parents swooned over after the war.

We had a blast! Loved their program, especially the first (Devil's Trill by Tartini) and the last piece (Spain by Chick Corea). And the way Ray interpreted and presented (subtle variations, cool and entertaining techniques) are just amazing.

Plenty of interactions of Ray/Julio with the audience. Got a bit distracted by Ray's bow keeping losing hair, and eventually the E string on his Stradivarius violin broke. But he managed it well, and we all got a laugh of it.

You just cannot not see a genius at work. Many teenagers attended last night. I wonder what they make out of seeing Ray's (and Julio) performance: encouragement or deterrence. I hope the former.

Kudos to Armstrong Auditorium to make this happen. Always well organized. Worth the long drive there.

It was great to at Armstrong again, seeing another wonderful performance on their stage. Ray Chen did a fantastic job! He was fun to watch, quirky at times. He laughed at himself a few times and made the audience laugh, as well as got a standing ovation for one of his songs. Very technically precise and it was dazzling to watch him play. Unfortunately we can’t take pictures or videos, but it’s definitely something to remember.

The Symphony was wonderful. Finding parking as well as leaving was super easy with people directing traffic right to your spot. Inside the ushers were polite and helpful. Intermission refreshments were upstairs. Be warned what I thought would be a simple one flight of stairs was 3 sets of 19 steps. The pie slices and coffee looked good and people seemed to be enjoying it. I just decided after thinking the 57 steps were a challenge, I didn't need pie. Bottled water was also available. I plan to go to another event next month.
