I love, love, love the animals. We got to feed so many different kinds of animals. They were so funny following us around. This was a really fun trip that we all got to enjoy. We will do this often.

The gift shop was old and dreary looking in need of updating or remodeling. The roads were in need of repair. Some animals were in un healthy looking condition. It was pretty pricey. My first time to visit doubt I'll go back. I do feel...More

Some of the other reviews of this place are a little too harsh. This place was a blast for our group of 5. I had low expectations, but it was really quite thrilling to feed the camels and ostriches. The facilities up front and the...More

We headed to Dallas for my son’s 6th birthday celebration. We decided to stop by Arbuckle Wilderness on the way down. We printed a $2 off coupon from the website so that saved us some money. It’s not a cheap stop, but it was a...More

DON'T BOTHER!!! The park is run down. No money is going back into the upkeep. The drive path is pathetic, crumbling making the drive very ruff. Someone please save them from themselves and shut it down. Waste of money...

We took our three-year-old there yesterday. Part of my family had been years ago and spoke highly of the experience, but unfortunately the park could now appear in an episode of Abandoned. The drive-through part with the animals is obviously the main attraction, but it...More

Arrived after 12pm. Saw some animals, but several must have been napping. It was pretty hot. I think there are too many donkeys... got tired of seeing them. I think it's pricey for what's currently available. Not sure I'd want to come back.

We took a 6 year old and a 14 year old. It is pricey, but the kids enjoyed it. They were able to feed llamas, ostriches, camels, buffalo, turtles, donkey's, deer, and several others. There was also a giraffe although they were unable to feed...More

No, AW is not setup for/meant for others to bring animals. AW is full of many, many different species of animals so bringing in another could present an issue/conflict anyways. It’s a wonderful place - enjoy!!!

It took about an hour to drive through and look around at the gift shop. They didn't seem to have a picnic area and there wasn't a place to get food in the park.
