Took my kids here for a visit and they just soaked in the history. My son who is now 17 loves learning about Oklahoma history and was excited to visit. The kids liked it so much they asked to visit Will Rogers birth place. I like that it's a free place to take the kids when it's hot out and... More

My favorite exhibit was the Roping Fool video. The museum is very well laid out and can be done at your own speed. A docent was available but we declined the guided tour.

Didn't realize the depths and areas that Will Rogers was associated with. Learned about the man, the father, the humanitarian, the actor and the son. He was a no nonsense guy with a depth of wisdom.

The art work in this museum is just fantastic! The portraits of Will Rogers are just wonderful! The live footage of him (especially the ones with his rope tricks) were really endearing. There is also an area downstairs for children to engage in building a log cabin with Lincoln logs, "riding" a horse (sawhorses with saddles), a puppet theater, etc.... More

Claremore, OK is a quaint little town of the beaten path a home of the Will Rogers. Unfortunately, many people do not know of the wonderful man that was a cowboy, vaudeville performer, writer, actor, entertainer and radio personality and avid traveler to just name a few of his occupations. I wonder what his TripAdvisor posts would be like and... More

Will Rogers certainly had an odd career path. He was born in the Oklahoma Territory, and became a cowboy. That led him to do some traveling, and he also learned some dazzling rope tricks. Those stunts helped him land a job in vaudeville, where he developed a friendly on-stage persona (which seems to be his natural state). From there he... More

It's a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. The museum is not only full of memorabilia and photos, it runs Will Rodgers films constantly. The docents are terrific. The facility and grounds are beautiful. Recommend.
