Strict mask policy. No smoking. Machines not paying. Can’t take your drink outside in designated smoking area. Overall lame atmosphere.

My sister wanted to visit while she was in town in late July, so I took her one Friday afternoon. We drove through the valet area and had our temperatures checked, and were given wristbands to wear to show we "passed" the check. Then we found a nearby parking spot, parked and went in. As it was the midst of the COVID19 pandemic, masks were required. We brought our own and wore them the entire time we were there. There were hand sanitizer stations everywhere, as well as sanitizing wipes. Several areas were roped off when we visited, with signs that said "open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m." or something like that. But there were still plenty of machines available for play. Most the machines had plexiglass partitions between each machine. Casino staff was diligent in cleaning machines regularly between guests. The gift shop was closed, as were the complimentary coffee and soda stations. Smoking was not allowed due to COVID. Even with all the restrictions in place, my sister and I spent a fun couple of hours. We didn't win a lot, but we didn't lose a lot either. I look forward to visiting again when the pandemic goes away and things return to "normal".

Don't like the mandatory mask rule and no smoking. Walked around for about an hour. Had the machines I like to play locked down. So we went to River Spirit. Won't be back until the funky rules go away.

I have been to casinos, hotels, and resorts Nationwide. To be totally truthful, I was the road manager of one of the most high profile music artists in the US, and have worked, played, and stayed at the most high profile hotel/casinos in the US. The Hard Rock Tulsa is not only a great hotel/casino in Oklahoma. but truly is a World Class place...yes on the level of Las Vegas! The Hard Rock Tulsa is truly one of the best run hotels I have ever stayed at. The restaurants are all first class. The rooms are first class and cleaned to perfection (I personally like the chocolate guitars placed on the pillows!). The main showroom (The Joint) is beautifully laid out and run to perfection! The bars all "rock!" The casino floor is well run. The staff throughout is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Bottom line the Tulsa Hard Rock Casino and Resort is exceptional!

Okay, everyone knows HR is horrible. And that's a compliment. But, we go there to get out. Yes, they stink when it comes to their payout and their stupidity forcing guests to wear masks. Okay, maybe masks are okay for some. But, never never kid yourself. Gambling at HR is bad.
