The Frank Phillips Ranch was founded in 1925 and the Woolaroc Museum had a humble beginning four years later in 1929. The 3,700 acre wildlife preserve is home to more than 30 varieties of native and exotic animals and birds. It is a working ranch that maintains the animals for the enjoyment of our guests in a natural, protected setting. The Woolaroc Museum presents one of the world's most unique collections of Western art and artifacts; Native American pottery, baskets, beads, blankets and cultural art; historical displays; and one of the most complete collections of Colt firearms. Guests can also tour the Lodge, which was used as a place for Frank Phillips to entertain his friends and maintain business relationships. The Lodge abounds with tales of the parties, business events and wilder goings-on.

A great place to visit for young and old! The Museum is truly incredible! The park has a great deal of Indian history, wonderful art work, a huge gun collection, and Phillips 66 and early oil history. If you are anywhere close to Woolaroc, don't miss it!

I'd love to come back and spend hours in the museum, because this place is fascinating! It's a must see for Okies especially. Such a hidden gem of rich Oklahoma history.

We drove through this multi-acre wildlife preserve & ranch. We primarily went, hoping to hike the trails, and while we saw a sign for the trails, we never found them. Driving through a buffalo reserve was really neat, as you can get very close to get a good look at them.

Hi Scott! We are so sorry to hear this, but excited to tell you that we did make improvements to our signage, and added an arbor to the entry of the trails in March. We hope you will try again soon! More

Husband and I happened by on our trip home to Texas from Nebraska. Wonderful museum with lots of history and great exhibits. Wildlife was abundant, beautiful views, good price, both of us for just $24 dollars. Even though it was February, the weather was perfect and that makes a huge difference! There is a lot of walking but the views... More

If you like western history, literature, or anything having to do with the Wild West, this is the museum and ranch for you. You will see buffalo and elk as well as both white tail and black tail deer on either the drive into the museum or on your way out. The museum itself has numerous animal displays, Indian blankets,... Great place for kids and adults, me and my wife went this spring and hiked their trails, it was a lot of fun and a great place to enjoy outdoors. We also went in December to see the lights, this is great also but there were a lot of people compared to spring. They have a petting zoo and play... More

History of oil at its finest. The buffalo blocked my car. AMAZING. The lodge employees were terrible but the place made up for their lack of assistance.

Animals, Native American and oil history museum and lodge. Typical topography for the park. It's the best museum in the area and if you want to know about this area then stop by here.

Excellent western history museum. Enjoyed seeing the wildlife as well. We took our time and had a nice day seeing the property, buildings, wildlife, and the museum. Even the gift shop was worth the visit.
