The best time to visit is when the roses are in full bloom. You would never expect something like this to be in a city like Youngstown, but it is well worth the visit. Be aware that there are a lot of weddings here on the weekends during the spring and summer months.

For us, with a free afternoon in Youngstown, Ohio, the Fellows Riverside Gardens was a real "find." For one thing, this 11 acre garden is FREE! There are quite a lot of "individual" gardens," e.g., perennial garden, rose garden, Ohio woodland garden, etc. These individual gardens are well marked as was the signage of individual plants. There is a very... More

We have enjoyed strolling through these gardens many times through the years. The flowers are always beautiful and the gardens are meticulously kept.

I and my wife go to the Garden every season to see the awesome variety of flowers and landscapes. The flowers in bloom are like walking in a dream! The scents can't be duplicated!

Stopped here on a Saturday morning, we toured all of Mill Creek Park, the gardens were at the beginning of it. Very well kept, lots still in bloom even tho we were towards the end of the season. Walked the whole grounds in about an hour, great children's area. Went back inside, they have a small gallery, a beautiful gift... More

I love gardens and have visited many. Fellowes Gardens are among my favorites. Spring, Summer, or Fall they are bright with colors. The rose garden is magnificent all summer. And there are many activities in the building there associated with flowers and gardening that are interesting and entertaining. And last but not least, there is a wonderful gift show with... More

My wife and I were blessed to get married outside of the Davis center in 2008. Our wedding reception was held right after inside the Davis center. Fellows riverside garden is truly romantic and is great for weddings and wedding pictures. It will always hold a special place inside of my heart!
