If you ever wondered whether you could take your bicycle on any of the bike trails from Xenia Station, don’t give it a second thought and do it. Not only will you experience low grade and well maintained black-topped trail and bridges that were once railroad tracks, you enjoy streams and trees and the wildlife of the woodlands (some are deep in the woods) of Greene County. Ride as little or as far as you want. My favorite is the ride to Cedarville where I can sit on the deck at Telemetry Coffee Roasters (with a coffee, of course) as I look into the ravine and watch Stoney Creek flowing by. Just do it!

I recently completed my sixth annual visit to Xenia for the Greene Trails Cycling Classic. Excellent program! Fun, well-organized, flexible, all-inclusive. Paved trails are beautifully maintained and excellent for cycling, walking & running.

I've participated in the Greene Co Cycle Classic twice (usually scheduled for July each summer) and recommend it to anyone who enjoys biking, beginners as well as experts. It attracts the nicest people, daily rides include rest/snack stop(s), sag support and the paths are all paved and as flat as any I've seen. Doubt I could achieve a Century award anywhere else as I'm a true "flatlander" and ancient rider. This must be one of the most affordable bike events in all of Ohio or even USA. Good available camping included in price of registration makes for a great family vacation. Camp in same spot for the entire event. Paths extend from the center like spokes of the wheel so each day's event is an "out-and-back". Travel at your own pace, no pressure. Lots of things to do at the end of each day's excursion before you return to HQ if you are interested.

Wide, shady and flat! We experienced perfect weather, and the drivers along the trails were so nice! The pavement is in excellent shape. Stop at the Women's Garden in Yellow Springs, it's a treat!

I've used these bike trails many times and they are always clean and well maintained. The trail Sentinels are quite visible and all the trails are safe. The further away from a town you get, the fewer walkers and runners you'll see. You can also tell when you are getting within a couple miles of the next town because you'll start seeing runners, then within a mile or so you'll begin seeing walkers. The people are always friendly.
