We saw Candide which was excellent, but the production was soooooooooooooooooo lengthy. I could have dealt with a shorter version, even though this venue is quite comfortable.

We have attended OLO since 2007 or so. We have never seen bad performances but some were more memorable than others. This year we saw 50 million Frenchmen and cloclo. Both were outstanding for voices and acting/dancing. The OLO has a sustained record of great...More

Not only can you enjoy operettas, there are also old Broadway shows included. The theater is arranged so that all seats are good ones. You can't go wrong no matter which show you select.

I absolutely loved Babes in Arms. The singing and dancing was wonderful. Everything about this was so professional. I would recommend this for everyone.

I can't believe I have lived "back home" for nearly 20 years and just now attended an Ohio Light Opera performance. Oh, the shows I've missed! With a background in music and theater, I'm always up for a good show. So I was thrilled when...More

The professionalism of the organization cannot be overstated. The foundation of Gilbert and Sullivan operettas remains, but each year sees expansion of the repertoire. Wonderful operettas share the season with American musicals and, lately, some thoughtful, well researched productions of performances not seen for years....More
