I like Blendon Woods, but usually come to walk my dog and the dog trail since it’s one of the few Metroparks that allows dogs on the path. I have watch some of the other trails, and they are nice.

This park, like most of the metro parks in the Columbus area, is well preserved, with nice play yards for kids. Hiking trails are well-taken care off to enjoy a good walk, jogging, or bike riding.

If you ever wavered on voting for a tax levy for Parks, come here. Unplug from the net and refuel your tank of nature. I admit it has taken me decades to experience and discover everything this park has to offer. When younger, I came...More

My wife and I visit this park occasionally to take a short walk and have a picnic lunch. There are several good opportunities for picnicking as well as nice paths for walking. Parking is normally pretty easy to find, although weekends can be busy.

I'm not left speechless very often- ask my wife. However, the previous reviewers have really described the park well. It does not get the traffic of Sharon Woods to the west or Blacklick Woodsto the south, but if you can follow the signs off the...More

A wonderful and enjoyable park for the entire family. On the northeast side of Columbus off SR161. Great walking paths which seem to go on forever and a great play ground for children. Numerous shelter houses which you may reserve for picnics but reserve them...More

Big park with many miles of trails. Go from the city to the woods as soon as you enter the wooded driveway. Great nature center for kids and birders. Two observation decks at the pond plus nature center with feeders. Hike in fields and woods....More

Great walking paths, shaded, uphill and downhill, creeks to cross, scenic, well kept! Then this year they added a natural play area that is just amazing and the only one like it that I've seen! It has a natural teeter totter, a zip line, places...More

This is a very nice park offering a number of hiking trails. We were there for a family reunion. They have a number of reserved picnic areas just for this. Each area offers a covered shelter and bathroom. It does have to be reserved far...More

The slightly hilly drive into the park is one of my favorite parts of this place. Once inside, you enter a quieter, open area with a mix of woods and small fields. It has some decent hiking, but no main attraction, such as the cliffs...More
