I heistate to write this review because I want to keep the crowds away! This place is right by my house but I never visited it until last November. I always walk on the bike trail with my dog but they added a path from...More

This is one of our all time favorite places to go for a small "hike"!! The area is gorgeous and has just enough variation in elevations to keep it interesting. It's family and pet friendly -- and now has restrooms -- always a plus when...More

This is a beautiful preserve just north of Westerville. It is a comfortable walk, just over a mile on easy terrain. Pets are permitted. We saw several deer and birds on the walk. There is a nice bird blind and observation deck but it does...More

We took a lovely walk on a late October day. Not difficult but there are steps on the loop. Be sure to check out the pond from the duck blind. Dogs on a leash are welcomed.

Great trails for hiking, running or an outing with kids. Very well maintained with a bonus bird watching tower that is totally worth the trip!

We had a relaxing, quiet walk in the park before getting breakfast. It's an easy walk not too long at 1.5 miles. It's ok to bring your dog as long as it's leash. It's open all year but could be messy after a rain. Trail...More

Not a whole lot of people seem to know about Char-Mar, so it's peaceful! There's a 1-1/2 mile loop through the woods, with a shelter to view waterfowl (small lake) and other birds. Flush toilets and a drinking fountain are available by the parking lot....More

Char-Mar Ridge is located just east of hwy 3 a couple miles south of Sunbury. On a December weekend, the parking lot was almost full and we had lots of company on the Glacier Ridge Trail. Some people passed us more than once as we...More
