Always have enough choice of showtimes and movies. Also this is the only Theater in Cincinnati where we get Indian Movies.

I have mixed feelings about this theater. We love the recling seats, being able to choose your seats ahead of time, concession is nice also BUT the restrooms are horrible! Standing water on the floors, stahls broken, just plain messy! If they could just lean up the restrooms the place would be five star!

Always liked this theater, especially the seating. Don't recommend the back row because when you recline, the bottom part of the screen disappears into the row in front of you.

The AMC theater in West Chester, OH is a massive edifice housing 16 separate theaters -- with a real shortage of restrooms. I arrived early to buy tickets for Dunkirk, and the sales assistant was helpful, clear, and did a great job explaining the AMC loyalty program worked. So far, so good.

The moment I entered the IMAX theater, I knew something was wrong. The trailers were deafening. And I mean literally deafening. I have significant hearing loss, and even after removing my hearing aids, the theater was physically vibrating in the bass frequencies and screaming in the treble.

I put up with this figuring trailers are always amped up -- it's the studios' way of trying to persuade you the movie will be exceptionally energetic or exciting. Surely souond would be bearable when the movie started. It wasn't.

When the movie began, with a very (theoretically) quiet fall of leaflets and some soldiers walking down an empty street, the sound was bearable but did not sound the least bit natural. When the gunfire started, the world ended. I literally put my fingers in my ears to try and modify the volume --- not block it, just modify it.

Eventually I sought out the theater manager to complain. This took some doing; he had to be summoned by phone. When he showed up, he explained that he could only send an email -- the sound was controlled by the studio itself, remotely! He would send the email, they'd respond, and it would be adjusted.

I returned to the theater. In a few minutes, the screen went black -- and stayed that way for five minutes or so. The movie flickered back to life -- at the end of the previews -- then wen black again -- and during its brief life, the sound was still overwhelming.

Many in the theater left and sought refunds, which the theater provided without complaint. I was one of these. And here's the punch line -- I immediately went to another theater and saw the same movie, not in IMAX. The sound was normal, perfectly acceptable, loud where it should be, clear and audible when lower levels were called for. The movie itself -- I thought it was great.

So there's your proof, it wasn't the movie, it was the AMC West Chester. Although I got a refund, I am unlikely to put up again with a theater where the manager can't control the sound in the theater, or fix technical problems, or even be available. I don't blame the manager; he's a cog, not a manager. And the staff were nice as pie. But the whole set up stinks. I won't be going back.

My wife, my daughter and myself went to see a movie in IMAX on a Friday night. We bought the seats online. They were $15.49 each. We go into our theater to discover the seats are not the new recliners, but old, nasty, hard seats. Ok, so I can live with that...The previews were playing, but there was no sound. Ok, I can live with that...Then when we sat down, we realized that 2 of our seats were in the middle section, and the other seat was on the other side of the aisle-unlike what was showing online when we bought our tickets. This, I can't live with. I came to see a movie with my family and our seats were separated. I go out to talk to the manager, big guy with a long, red beard. I was extremely nice. I told him the problem. He said "what movie". I told him he said, "oh, I can't do anything about that, it will be sold out". He didn't even check to see if there were other seats available. In fact he gestured to the line for concessions, and said he was too busy. I told him the sound was off, he then snapped that he knew already and stormed away. There were in fact seats available, so thankfully we did get to sit together. This manager was a joke. Take care of your customers concerns...at least TRY! We will NEVER return to this nasty theater.

Purchasing tickets online was easy. No line upon entry. No line at refreshment stand however we purchased icees and none of the machines were working. Had to get a refund. Once entering the theater for movie it was freezing cold. I had 2 shirts and 2 jackets on and was still uncomfortable. Not how I like to watch a movie.

My granddaughters and I always go to this theater to see their movies (i.e., kids movies). They love the reclining seats and the fact that we get to pick our seats ahead of time. Also, AMC theaters have a great option for snacks, one small popcorn and small drink for $5.50. Perfect for the kids without breaking the bank. My granddaughters always ask to go to the "good theater".

Seats are very comfortable. Easy to get around, but wait for your snack as the concession stand is pricey. If you're family is larger, it'll be hard to make your theater experience complete with concession items without spending a bit.

We received a gift card for AMC Theaters so we decided to give this one a try. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and were running just a bit short on time to grab our tickets, purchase snacks, and enter the show. The line wasn't too long but it seemed to be taking longer than we thought so I asked my wife to go ahead and get in line for concessions while I waited. She tried but couldn't since they require you to have a ticket just to get to the concession stand. I don't recall this being an issue at any other theater we've attended. Not a huge deal but be aware for planning.
We got our tickets and headed for the concession stand. Service was fairly quick. We were planning dinner later so we ordered light - a small popcorn, small soda, and a twenty ounce bottle of water. My jaw dropped when the attendant said the total was $19.23! That's quite a price for what we ordered.
The seats were fairly comfortable, the reclining type. The screen and sound quality were less than expected. My home equipment is as good or better.
Overall, not bad but not the best around.

The new seating is great with the recliners and the new Dolby theatre is a whole new experience. Dolby is in theatre 17 and you got to see a movie there to believe it. The number 2 combo with large popcorn and two large drinks is best deal for around 21 dollars but if you have a loyalty card you get a couple bucks off.
