About
EnterTRAINment Junction is unlike any indoor family entertainment center on the planet! 80,000 Square feet of unmatched family fun featuring two world class attractions. At EnterTRAINment Junction, you can marvel at the world’s largest indoor train display (that’s 25,000 sq. ft. of model trains on an enormous train layout), let the kids have fun in our spectacular children’s play area, discover our imaginative railroading museum, view our remarkable 1,000 square foot replica of historic Coney Island Amusement Park, and (open seasonally) the kids can engineer their own locomotive or ride our narrow gauge train ride. Don't forget the greatest funhouse on earth which features maze of mirrors, tilted room, and more! New in 2019 is our marble display where you will see lots of unique collectible marbles, marble games, marble jewelry, an amazing kinetic marble sculpture and more! In fact, the collection is so large the museum can’t display everything at once!

Great experience!
Jan 2021
If you enjoy model trains, this is a must see! Kids will love the layout - much larger than most would expect. We spent two hours going through and could have spent much more time. Most of the layout is in "O" scale. Lots and lots of trains running over a huge layout. Several vantage points for little ones to see all of the activity.

We appreciate your wonderful review! The majority of our layout is G scale, but we do have one or two "O" scale layouts as well. Thank you for your 5 star rating! :)

Toured the whole thing, had a snack and toured it again.

This is an amazing layout. Lots of interactive. Lots of information about Trains as well.

There is more here than just a train layout, snacks, a train store, and special exhibit hall.

I could of spend more time here, but this was a couples vacation and we needed to go.

I will be back.

All of the small details put into the displays. Coney Island display brought back memories. Plus as a guest you have the ability to get up close to the displays.

COULD HAVE STAYED ALL DAY!!!
Jul 2020
I, my son, and his dad took a road trip in July, and checking out trains was a major part of the plan. We love the real thing, and we love layouts - and EnterTRAINment has a FANTASTIC layout!!! And, it's not only trains; it's so much more.

But first, that layout: WOW! We could have easily gone through the entire display, then started over, at least two or three times. There's so much to see, it's impossible to catch it all in one pass. Or two. Or, probably, ten. We've seen a lot of layouts, and what makes this one especially cool is not only the gigantic size of it, but the attention to detail. If you peer inside the buildings, there's almost always something happening. There are little "jokes" planted around, there are signs instructing you to look for various things, including dinosaurs that inexplicably haunt the hills. There are multi levels, 1200 trains... If you like trains, you HAVE to go here!

After viewing the layout, we -of course - had to pop into the gift shop. At the counter was a lovely young lady named Lindsey (I hope I spelled it right!) who answered our questions, and even got on the phone to get information for us about a store nearby that sold model trains. As if that weren't enough, upon hearing we'd driven out from Pennsylvania, she told us to wait - that she'd contacted the President of EnterTRAINment, who happened to be in the building.

Not only did Mr. Don Oeters stop by to greet us, he took us on a personal tour of some hidden parts of the layout. My son was in heaven! (So was I, to tell the truth.) Then he asked if we'd visited the other exhibits, which we hadn't. I'm so glad he asked, because we went into an area where some of Neil Young's own train stock was on display, as well as a huge marble collection. Who knew that presidents had marbles made in their honor?? There was a special Coney Island layout... There's more to this place than I can list here.

The last of those places, which we hadn't even considered going through, was the Amaze-N-Funhouse. I'd thought it was just for kids, and probably little kids at that. Well, we spent at least another hour, just in there. There are mirror mazes, optical illusion rooms - all kinds of crazy activities. We had a blast!

If we ever head that way again, we will ABSOLUTELY stop at EnterTRAINment Junction. It really is fun for everyone in the family, but especially the young at heart. :-)

Great day with the grandkids!

A wonderful layout of trains, towns and the countryside from different decades. A great place to take children, even toddlers. There is plenty to see and do. The parking lot was almost full but the place is big enough that it never felt crowded or rushed.

A "must see" for any train lover!
Nov 2019 • Family
We live in central Indiana but are happy to make the drive over because of the pure joy this place brings to our train-loving son! We have been 5 or 6 times and still find ourselves in awe every time. On our last visit we saw a train derail in front of us (a first in our many visits). An employee came over to see what happened and throughout the repairs he was so friendly and insightful. He showed us on his tablet how the entire system works...we could see the status of each train and he was happy to entertain every question we asked. We have found that everyone working there is just as friendly! We've also been there around Christmas (and Christmas in July), and Santa's workshop does not disappoint! You can easily spend hours here. Kids will love everything there is to do (including an indoor play area and outdoor train ride), and adults will appreciate the attention to detail - it is truly unreal! There are lots of other things to do in the area so it's a great day trip; King's Island and Great Wolf Lodge are a quick 10-15 minutes away. If you're looking for something new and different, our family highly recommends this place! (Just be prepared to visit the toy stores on your way out!)

Ok but a bit pricey :-(
Jan 2020
First of all I just want to say I'm a huge railfan and was looking to coming here as we were in the area.Once you're inside the main display as you walk through it is out of this world, there are trains everywhere. You can see that an awful lot of time and effort has been spent on making this attraction what it is today...However and to be honest we were in and out in less than one hour and that seems too quick for something that was $14.95 each,I'm not sure if they have a season ticket or whatever but if you do come back for a lower price or whatever its more than likely you'll be seeing the same trains in the same scenery. To me its one of those places you say you've been to but only going to be likely just the once. There are two shops here also, one is gift shop which I thought was reasonably priced and then there's a shop selling mostly toy trains and model trains which seemed to be fairly expensive. I know these kind of places have to make money but you've already paid almost $15 per adult to see the display plus you're likely to buy something from the gift shop. But I will say putting my negative points aside,if you have children with you they are going to love it and talk about all day long

Thanks for your feedback and for taking the time to write your review. We're glad that you can appreciate the time and effort it has taken to create our display, but we are sorry that you were disappointed with the pricing. We try to include the "most bang for your buck" by offering a wide variety of attractions included in the Train Journey - the train display, the kids play area, the museum, the Coney Island exhibit, and the marble exhibit. One thing that's great about our display is that it's never finished! We are constantly adding new things to the layout. We appreciate your feedback and we will be sure to pass it along the rest of management. Thank you!

Great place for kids!
Dec 2019 • Family
If you like detail and trains and landscapes and minutes and funhouses, this is definitely the place to hit up. The price to go once can seem a little steep, but season passes here are relatively priced and perfect if you have a little one! A great rainy day outing!

This is definitely museumy. They start with the history of railroads and trains and you can go on a self guided tour. There's big red buttons along the way for kids to push to make trains go or to hear sounds of the scene they're in. They spared no eye when designing everything. There's plants, people, buildings, cars, and of course trains. You find out the early uses and move on in decades through tunnels up to the modern age. There's things to read to tell you what's going on and learn.

About a third of the way through there's a giant indoor play area. A huge climbing play place (which fortunately is pretty big enough for adults to fit if you need to go catch a child). A normal outdoor like playset and then a toddler/under 3 fenced in area with train tables and normal a Thomas the tank engine movie playing. They also have family restrooms in the area if need be. Halfway through there is more museum type stuff for older train enthusiasts and I recommend going upstairs to the observation deck. You can truly see how massive the whole area is and see some of the trains up top. They also have a setup up there like a theme park and stats about coney island and the floods to check out. Occasionally there is something going on in the side room there depending on the season. Halloween has a "haunted house" to walk through and get candy, plus pumpkin decorations stations. A lot of times there are special exhibits. At Christmas time there's a whole Christmas village set up that is actually free!!! You just walk to the back and hang a left to go see it no admission charge needed.

They also have a cafe with light bites like hot dogs, cookies, pretzels, drinks, etc. Past that is a while fun house area! Mirror maze, space tunnel, clown house, interactive game floor. And at Christmas you can go to the North Pole and visit Mrs Claus for cookies and a private room for just your party to go talk to and see santa! And of course buy pictures if you'd like as well. It's a great place for kids and kids at heart. They even have a hobby store where you can get train tracks and cars, and Legos, and model cars and all sorts of things!
