Terrific people who own operate this facility. So enthusiastic and passionate it. Lots of history and interesting things to see. They also have annual event (wings and wheels) to raise money for several local charities.Ken W

There for Wings and Wheels

What an exceptionally well run event. The museum is also open during the event. So much aviation history contained there. Make a trip out during hours that they are open (check first) or make sure to attend the event.

Interesting & Fun But Get there early
Aug 2017 • Family
Our third year of attending this event. Very interesting and fun. Our only complaint is the cars starting leaving around noon. If you're gonna charge $10 to get in it'd be nice if the cars were required to stay past 1:00 since the event goes until 4:00. We got there at 12:30 and spent our time moving out of the way of the show cars leaving. Wouldn't want to have a small child with me...could be dangerous.

Local Aviator and Aviation History

Ernie Hall was a flight instructor dating to the time of the Wright brothers. This museum centers around his contributions but is expanded to include an eclectic collection of aviation memorabilia. We had a tour given by a very bright young man who made the visit extremely enjoyable as well as educational because of his knowledge and love for aviation. Well worth the time to visit.

So much memorabilia in a spacious area. It is always a pleasure coming here every year, enjoying the variety of aviation memorabilia. The hanger is so cleverly decorated.

Wings and Wheels
Aug 2015 • Couples
This past Sunday "wings and wheels" was held at this airfield, The show was exciting with vintage airplanes and vintages automobiles(seems like hundreds) on display. The hangars were filled with memorabilia from america's earliest pilots to present day. Much to see and enjoy if you are interested in history of flight in this country.

Filled to the brim with Aviation Memorabilia .. Really enjoyed this Museum!!

I had a really good time at the Ernie Hall Aviation Museum. While small looking from the outside, it is extremely well organized on the inside... Filled to the brim!! The Guys who own it have done an amazing job put in a lot of hard work, and we're very personable... Guided me through the entire Museum and showed me their fantastic works in progress for the Museum. This place is packed with early Aviation Memorabilia, 100's of amazing hand carved/painted models, beautiful original rotary engines from the early 1900's, a Cosmonaut Helmet... Even a hand written letter from Orville Wright!!

Packed with gems is this small Hangar!! While not as dramatic as huge Aerospace Museums like Wright-Patterson or the Smithsonian... Early Aviation was small scale and simple. Ernie Hall is indeed a piece of History, one of the Worlds First Aviators ...

This Museum is a worthwhile stop and worth of support from the Public. I had a good time there and highly recommend you stop by as well!
