Great atmosphere and a large selection of groceries and cheeses. They also have an ice cream shop as well as a section of specialty jams, jellies, syrups, wall plaques and decorations. All decently priced. Definitely a must stop if you're in the area.

You can buy spices and herbs at about 1/2 price of retail grocers. Friendly and very helpful staff. In the heart of Ohio Amish country...which should not be missed.

Our picks, Boyd & Wurthman and Hershbergers, YUM! (3 Replies)
You can't beat B&W for good ol' fashioned cooking with large portions and small prices. I have tried french toast, bacon and eggs, burgers, fries, roast beef and mash potatoes, pies,....all very good! Breakfast, lunch, dinner or just pie, go. Hershbergers Farm Market has it all, for me anyway. Lovely flowers, fresh produce, bulk foods, meats, cheeses and baked goods galore. Creamsticks as big as your head! Cheese tarts are awesome, and they have the biggest donuts I have ever seen. The fry...More

Foods of Holmes County Amish Country (0 Replies)
If you visit Amish Country for just a weekend you could spend your entire time at food places: Coblentz Chocolates is in Walnut Creek and you can view chocolate making. In addition you can pre-purchase ready-made boxes or build your own from the showcase. Cheese factories are everywhere: Guggisberg, Walnut Creek Cheese, Heinis Cheese, Pearl Valley Cheese, Steiner Cheese, Broad Run Cheese House and more! Troyers Trail Bologna is quite famous. It is served in many restaurants and at benefit...More

Ohio Wine in Amish Country (3 Replies)
Did you ever think you would find Ohio's 2nd largest winery in the middle of an Amish Community? Well guess again. In Holmes County, Tuscarawas County and Coshocton Counties you will find at least 8 or more wineries and wine-tasting showrooms. You will also find many cheese factories so that you can pick some up to compliment your wine. The top 3 picks for wineries at our B&B are: Ravens Glenn Winery, The Winery at Perennial Vineyards and Breitenbach Winery. The top 3 picks for cheese...More

I've not heard of Perennial Vineyards. Where is it located? We absolutely love Ravens Glenn. Also, does Breitenbach only have the sweet fruit wines?
