Wonderful corkscrew drive down, but parking at a premium & lucky enough to get the last spot. Sat and had a drink in the shade whilst watching the people disembarking from trips , and sunbathers on the small beach . The sea water here is an amazing translucent turquoise, which contrasts dramatically with the pale sand & stark rocks . Would imagine it’s quite nice & peaceful when all the boat trips are over for the day, or out-of-season - but a bit of a melee otherwise .

And it would be perfect if this wasn’t the point for many private boat trips to start...small, hidden...relaxing. Worth only in the afternoon when no more boats are departing from there.

Beautiful port with some small fishing boats. Boarded one of these to visit shipwreck island 15 euros each.
Clear crystal waters, stunning views, however the drive down and back again felt like being on a roller coaster of a ride. i was terrified. suffice to say i already have a fear of heights, so i now feel proud i made this journey there and back in one piece and im so pleased iv got it in my memory bank.

We arrived here not knowing what to expect. Small beach. Small beachside cafe. There is a small beach and clear waters. Plenty of boats to hire privately or as part of a group.
We hired our own 2 hours. €90. Loved every minute of it. Definitely worth it.

The only worth thing here is that it is a starting point of boats to Navagio. Above that narrow beach, within a cave, secured with strap, that people use to hang clothes. Definitely not a place of interest.

The view from the top of the Porto Vromi Bay is wonderful. A small beach surrounded by rocks with crystal clear water is breathtaking. Part of the beach is sheltered, so you can hide there from extremely hot weather. The bottom in this bay is quite deep, and water itself is refreshing. You can buy there a trip from Porto Vromi to Shipwreck, which is the main attraction of the island.

We drove for 50 minutes on a quad bike to get here but it was 100% worth it! The roads are twisty and steep but manageable so don’t be put off.

The beach is white pebbles so bring sea shoes. The water is crystal clear and looks blue/green from above. The beach was very quiet while we were there (around 12-2) and it made it relaxing. There is a small cove area if you want to sit in the shade.

Food/drinks are available from a small vendor overlooking the port.

A place you have to go when you visit Zakynthos! The blue crystal waters , the green all around and the small sandy beach is what you need for your holidays!
At porto vromi beach you can find a team of professional people called "Porto vromi Maries cruises and fun". You can go by boat to the famous shipwreck and caves or rent a boat to go by yourself! At porto vromi you can find a cantin that you can buy food or drink! Toilets are available and free for all! A unique place to visit remember for ever!!

Very small beach but lots of boats going to Shipwreck and the beautiful caves and water. The trip was 10 euros each for 3 hours, you stay at shipwreck beach for an hour and a half. Make sure you take drinks with you .
