Where do I start. If all you want is a simple trip to the beach (as we did) please look elsewhere. We booked this trip via GS Tours located in Chania Town. We went into the shop where the two dopey assistants weren’t fully sure...More

Nothing much to see here. An old cave with a lot of peagons. It is something like a “church” but nothing serious here.

Elafonissi itself is so great that we consider stopping here a bit waste of time, and money. Restaurant expensive, cave OK but nothing amazing, we saw much better. It could be worth if you have plenty of time.

Views from the cave, of the gorge are good. Cave itself is okay, pretty much just a cave. You need to have a reasonable level of fitness to make the ascent . There are around 250 steps. Nice place to stop off, and free admission.

Cave is very nice but charges at the cave restaurant are very high, if you are going just for the cave add one or few stars.

We had a great day here. i personally wouldn't pay for a tour but if you hire a car and go there for the day its defiantly worth the visit.

It is worth all the stairs to the church when the temperature is not to hot. It is worth the trip just for the overview.

Stoped here on the way to Elafonissi, was told that the Tavernas at the bottom of the steps are a tourist trap so didn’t venture in. My friend decided to count the steps to the cave, cannot remember how many but was over 200 &...More
