The cathedral is beautiful with stained glass windows and marble everywhere. Seek it out don't miss out.

I've been to this cathedral for Christmas eve mass as well as confirmation celebrations and it takes my breath away every time. You don't think Toledo Oh would have such a beautiful structure in it's midst. Whoever said it was like being in Europe was absolutely correct.

This cathedral is awe inspiring both outside as well as the interior. The architecture is to be marveled on the outside. Inside you experience a wonderfully exquisite chancel area and beautiful stain glass windows, beautiful granite and painted ceilings (I suggest taking a pair of opera glasses or small binoculars to get an even closer look at the ceilings and... 1972, I was fortunate to te married in this Cathedral. All the lights were low, all the Canada's were lit. I of course wore a very long cathedral veil. My bridesmaids all six wore shoulder length veils. The bridesmaids carried hurricane lit candles surrounded by flowers and long ribbons. ( way back then I actually designed this flower hurricane design)... More

I lived in Toledo for 21 years and had been to this Cathedral several times as a child. Recently (45 years later) I went with a group on a guided tour. The Cathedral itself is a beautiful in its architecture. The artwork is beautiful. If you can take a guided tour, this would be the way to go, so you... More

This is a beautiful church. Absolutely stunning. This church is very big inside and just the structure is great.

This Catholic Cathedral is second to none. You'll think you were in The Basillica in Rome. Loads of stained glass and Italian marble. They don't build 'em like this anymore. Amen.

I have live here all my life (75 yrs). This place was built & paid for with the nickels & dines from the 1930 parishioners. You'd be hard pressed to see a more beautiful Cathedral in the USA. Only down side is the new Novus Ordo altar out front. Vatican 2 updates caused them to smash a beautiful Traditional altar... More

Even though I've lived near here my whole life the feeling is the same every- single- time I walk in the doors. I am still in awe of the raw beauty and overwhelming spiritualness that IS the Cathedral. The stained glass, ornate statues and history that make up the Cathedral are second to none. I do love old churches!! and... More
