We enjoy stopping here occasionally to eat a take-out meal from a nearby restaurant and walk the trail that goes to a beautiful overview of the Maumee River.

This is a family park but we go for the great views of the Maumee River. Sit on a bench facing the river,. enjoy the sounds of children's laughter and just kick back for 5 minutes or an hour.

This is in a great location. Right on the water and across the street from the Toledo Zoo. Two good play areas for the kids. Get there early if planning a cookout because it really gets crowded on weekends.

the day we went to the park much trash had been thrown around probably by uncaring park participants. The view of the river is awesom

Good place for a daily walk for people and dogs. You can sit and enjoy the river or have a picnic with plenty of tables, grills and shade.

It's a nice park on the Maumee River. It's also located across the street from the Toledo Zoo. Come and join us for a quick visit.

You do have to pay to use the indoor shelter and they are usually booked months in advance. I am not sure about the outdoor shelter area.

Picnicking is free. There are some built it grills, you just need to bring charcoal. There are free concerts there but are sporadic. The park has a nice playground area for children. The Toledo Zoo is across the street but... More
