Took the kids to see the show here. Its a very nice theater, but small. Concessions leave a lot to be desired. Friendly staff. The show was great, and the VIP experience prior to the show was top notch.

This theater isn't architecturally exceptional, so you never really get that feeling that you are any place special. Saw a speaker and a couple of musicals and wine was served by the plastic glass. It would probably be good venue for a comedian, but then...More

It's a grand theater. It's not fancy or regal like "old theaters" but it's spacious, lots of easy parker and decent acoustics. They provide a wide variety of shows for all tastes.

Toledo is fortunate to get some really excellent touring companies. Today’s matinee performance of Wicked was no exception. Stunning stage sets were the perfect backdrop for the very talented cast. So nice to see that Toledo dressed up and showed up for this cultural gem.

We just went to see Wicked at the Stranahan for my son's 19th birthday. We had seats in row C of the Loge in the balcony. The theater had extremely easy parking, which was nice. We ate at the Black Pearl across the road before...More

No parking garage. We just got there early to get a good spot. No parking fees. But it is a while to get out of parking lot when theatre when the show lets out. Traffic gets backed up.

I've been there twice and both times I have seen furs and jeans. I go middle of the road and dress casually but prefer to not wear jeans.

Hello! I am taking my parents to see a comedian at the Stranahan Theater and have the opportunity to choose between row N on the main floor/right center or pit center seats. The pit center seats will be an extra $150 (total), which I would be willing to pay if they were really that much better and aren't overly close (where my parents would be looking at a sharp angle the whole time). I've never been to the theater in Toledo before, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much!

Row N is actually pretty good. I have been in the 4th row, but not dead center. I think the pit seats could be a little too close.

My wife and daughter are going to see Phantom here on Saturday afternoon. Is the theater in a good area? They want to have lunch somewhere beforehand.

Yes, I think it's in a good area, but there is only one restaurant within walking distance of the theater and that is the Black Pearl, right across the street. What kind of food are they thinking? I can offer some suggestions once I know that.
