I recently drove 8+ hours to see a medical specialist at the university of Toledo. We had a day between appointments and decided to see the sites the city of Toledo had to offer. I am handicap and use a power wheelchair. I didn't have a single complaint! everything was accessible, and many things I usually need assistance for I... More

Seems like they are always doing something new, to make the last visit different from the last. The new aquarium is awesome. Not as fun for teenagers.

The Toledo Zoo is always adding things to make it more exciting. If you get the chance, their Lights Before Christmas celebration is second to none! Great aquarium and children's Splash Zone added recently. This is the best family value around!

While visiting Toledo we went to the Toledo Zoo for the Christmas light display. The zoo was absolutely beautiful. I hope to go back in the summer so that I can experience it in the daylight.

The Toledo Zoo was just voted number 1 in the nation for their holiday light display! It is breath-taking, not to mention the ice slide and the bumper cars! We have made it an annual Christmas destination for our family.

Voted the best zoo lights in the nation 2 out of 3 years (they came in 2nd once), this is a not to be missed event. Not sure how they get those 100's of thousands of lights up every year, but WOW, youll be amazed. When its not winter, the park is a great place to spend a few hours... More

Our family visited Zoo Lights this Christmas season. They were spectacular! Although somewhat crowded, the staff was very accommodating. The highlight is a massive Norway spruce.

Every year we come visit 'The Lights Before Christmas' at the Toledo Zoo on New Year's Eve and each year we're not disappointed. If it's cold the inside exhibits are available to view while you thaw from the cold. There are plenty to of lights to see and I think we were there for 2.5 hours. Was nice to see... More

That is the slogan but it is true. I love going a couple times a year. The zoo is very clean. I recommend getting there early before it gets busy in afternoon. The Lights Before Christmas is a great event too. It is usually crowded but as long as you dont let people rush you it is fun.
