Not too large. Set up depends on the show. We went for a concert. Had seats on the floor behind standing only section. Visibility was still pretty good. Acoustics were fair could not always hear the words to the songs clearly.
Security was quick to escort any one out of the area who did not have a ticket for that area. Only drawback they put the concert merchandise on the second floor so after the concert we had to go upstairs as the mob was coming down the stairs to exit, chaos. Parking on the street and several lots around the facility.

I attended a concert, a Trump Rally and a Hockey game here within a two month period. Huntington is obviously a very versatile venue. The seats are comfortable but dress warm if in cold months and bringing a blanket may also be a good idea. Staff are friendly. The food is so very overpriced, however. Bring your own snacks or eat before you go.

We have seen two great concerts here. The seats are outstanding and the acoustics are spot on. Have been to quite a few different venues and this place is absolutely, hands down, one of the best. Local hotels are super reasonable and all with short walking distances. Great bars, great locals, definitely recommend!

My wife and I went to the RUSH concert 4/13/2011along with our 2 young teenage sons. The show was one of the best I have seen in years. Great stage, great music and an all around great performance. I tip my hat to the band for a excellent night with my family. The only downside was upon entering the center we were stopped at the turnstile and checked for "contraband". After checking the 4 of us they located some "contraband" in my wifes purse. Yes we were caught trying to enter the Huntington Center with, yes you guessed it........ 2 boxes of $1.00 candy that we brought for the boys to hold them over until we got setteled in to our seats. The candy police quickly confiscated the 2 boxes and tossed them in with the other "contraban" as we stood there embaressed in front of hundreds of people wondering what she was trying to smuggle in to the show. Yes we were now guilty of attemting to smuggle candy into a RUSH concert. Come on 2 bucks worth of candy! After spending over $ 200.00 for tickets, $ 10.00 dollars for parking and $ 60.00 dollars more for beverages and snacks for my family, I beleive the candy should have been allowed in. After all the folks in the few rows down from us managed to bring in pot to smoke but I guess the pot police were not at this turnstile, only the candy police. Apparently the candy police could not smell the pot at the turnstile (better smugglers) but were fast to find the candy. I also pointed out to my wife that there were no signs warning us about the rules about bringing in candy. So my advice is if you go to a concert at the Huntington Center don't take candy because the candy police will surely get you. Great show by RUSH, poor judgement by the crack security staff at the doors. I'm sure my kids will rember this for a long time. Again hats off to the band for a great show. As far as the security.............. well I'll just leave it at that.

Who ever built this place should be beaten with a rubber hose. Last, and I mean THE last, visit I noticed a lot of people standing or sitting on top of the seat arms. I quickly found out why. Small seats! I recall this was an issue with the engineers when it was being built but obviously they did not heed the experts advice. The worse seating experience I have ever experienced and have not returned since.

Concerts, sporting events and productions there are no bad seats in this house! Plenty of concessions, bathrooms and walking space. Seats are a little tight but that close and personal feeling is worth it. A fantastic place to see a concert. I personally like the arena seats better than the floor seats.

Not impressed with the Huntington Center for a concert. Saw Bob Seger there on March 26, 2011. When the warm up band came out, everything that they sang was hard to understand. My husband and I said that we hoped it was just there equipment. When Seger came out the sound wasn't much better. Sat in section 119 in row A, so it wasn't like we were up high. We will not go back. Huge Seger fans, but I wish we had waited to see them at the Palace Of Auburn Hills in Michigan. Disappointed in the sound. Wouldn"t return again.

We couldn't pass up a chance to see Janet Jackson in concert and this venue made the night all the more memorable. The Huntington Center looks brand spanking new, crisp and clean. The acoustics and lighting were perfect and the personnel friendly and helpful. A great place to see a great concert!

We were going to kill two birds with one stone by seeing TSO and then the Zoo lights in one day. The plan was afternoon concert followed by zoo lights.
We had never been to Huntington and we won’t go back.
We have seen TSO in Auburn Hills and Windsor. I don’t know if I would go to another TSO ( Transiberian Orchestra) if this one at Huntington was my first.
Concert was supposed to start at 3:30 but the lines of people wrapped around the outside at 3:30 because they hadn’t opened the doors yet had to be seen to be believed. Many of us were double checking our Tickets. Maybe we screwed up the time.....um NO.

We waited in line until after 4 and as we got to the front of the line a security guard announced,”You haven’t missed much they only started the concert about 5 minutes ago .”

They open the doors at the time the concert was supposed to start and then don’t wait until everyone is seated?
Shame on you. Someone should be fired. I will never go back.

I have been to the Huntington Center in Toledo twice for two separate concerts. Both times were great. There is always parking close to the venue, decently priced. Refreshments are good. Beer is kind of pricey, but that is true for all events I have been to regardless of the location. The inside of the arena is a nice size, and both times I have had an excellent view of the stage. The first time I attended a concert here, my friend and I had floor seats which were amazing. The second time, another friend and I were seated five rows up in one of the lower levels, and we still had a wonderful view. All the staff members I have encountered were also very friendly. I would definitely recommend the Huntington Center, and I have every intention of continuing to return.
