Right on the lake, outdoors, fun atmosphere, good burgers, great bone in wings, average fries, bad ice in drinks. Would go back for the atmosphere.

Papa Boo's has excellent food and entertainment. It has a great atmosphere because it is right on buckeye lake.

You gotta want to get to Papa Boo’s to enjoy it. Way deep into Buckeye Lake. Once there, it’s super for people watching, relaxing and cheap food and beer. As far as I know the only place on Buckeye Lake for music, entertainment and fun. They call it Key West in Ohio, and hey, it works. Enjoy!

One of our stops on a recent "tour" of Buckeye Lake, a boating and entertainment region 30 minutes east of Columbus, this place is a bizarre mix of adult and family fun that caters to the boating crowd. The view of the lake is nice and the outdoor area is spacious and high energy. The mix of buildings that make up the rest are either kitschy or or terrifying depending on the attitude you take with you. Crowded and winding, with things like a separate building for bathrooms that look like they transplanted an old state park bath house. There's a stage with live bands--looks like its often a band from 1-5 and another till 11. The night we were there it was a party band covering hits from "Sweet Caroline" to "Uptown Funk." Everyone was dancing, kids, parents, grandmas, bachelorettes, 40-somethings on the prowl. We had drinks. They have a bit of everything, mainly bottled or canned beers if you want something other than domestic. The liquor selection wasn't huge, but covered the bases. The food looked like typical bar food. The kind you appreciate if you're coming in off a full day on the boat. They do provide dockside food service, but sure about drinks. The signs say no alcohol on the deck. We'd go back. If you have the right attitude, you'll enjoy the fun and friendly atmosphere and people watching.

Solid bar food and good music at a reasonable price .Known locally as the best trained servers. Reportedly these people train like the major chains on service and menu. Lots of boat docking spaces.
