Exhilarating! We moved quickly through the courses and chose the extreme routes every time for an added challenge. My arms KILL today and I don’t want to get off the couch ever again, but I will in a couple weeks to go again! This was my first time treetop adventuring and zip lining and I can’t recommend it enough. Instructors were really helpful and encouraging. I felt well prepared and safe, and the other couples and groups there were so fun to climb with. There were a couple of 11 year olds with their mom behind us who made me feel a little less awesome because they were so fearless, and I screamed like a banshee on the Tarzan swing! And a woman behind them was terrified of heights but hung in there for the whole course. So proud of her, and me! Conquer those fears!

We did the Treetop Journey for an 11yo girls birthday party. They had a ball and enjoyed the course. An hour was exactly the right amount of time. We used inexpensive gardening gloves, which worked well…better than $9/pair there. For a hot day, a cooler with cold drinks is the perfect compliment.

This was such a fun time. I love that the Treetop Journey had 3 different loops at various difficulty levels. I have been to other rope courses that vastly misrepresented their difficulty, but this was just what they said. Also Leah was so kind and sweet as she helped us onto the courses.

My husband and I had a great time here for our anniversary. I gave only three stars because we made a reservation time but ended up waiting nearly 20 minutes to get started. The second reason is because although the zip line is SUPER fun, the landing was not. Overall it was a good experience.

The landings were terrible, the bumpers that prevent you from crashing into the anchors should have been up closer to prevent being dragged through the mulch and woodchips. Every time I landed I got soot in my eyes and covered in debris. It ruined the entire experience. Not worth it

We brought a group of 9 people to participate in the Treetop Journey for my daughter's 9th birthday. She even got her 84 year old grandma to zipline! We had so much fun! The staff members were so friendly and helpful! Thank you for helping us make memories that'll last a lifetime!

We did the adventure course as one of my grandkids was not tall enough for the big zip line course. Much smaller course than I expected. However my grandkids, ages 10 and 12, loved it. They did the loops multiple times, racing each other. The final zip line was also fun for them. I thought it was pricey, but they got their money’s worth. We went early afternoon midweek and had the course to ourselves. Leah and Megan were the instructors/ helpers and they were fabulous. We felt very safe with their help.

We had a fantastic time! We had two adults and three kids, celebrating my daughter's 14th birthday. All of us were nervous, but the instructors were amazing and led us through it with confidence and expertise. It's a workout! Make sure you stretch when you're done!

We went with two adults and three 13 year old boys. Everyone loved it and had a great time. In addition to the tree journey we did the forest escape which was fun! The thing that stood out to me the most though was the employees. Each and everyone was so nice and helpful with everything. We will definitely be back.

My 79 year old dad mentioned he'd like to try zip lining. I'm considering this as a Christmas gift. Since I too have never done this, I need some guidance. Start at an indoor place? I don't see him doing other obstacles.
Thank you for your input.

Hi Cheryl, Thanks for your interest in Go Ape! The course consists of more than 30 different obstacles and 5 zip lines for a 2-3 hour adventure in the trees. The course does involve climbing, and the obstacles lead you to each zip line. We have had guest your dads age complete the course before, however if you like, when we open back up in the Spring, you two can come watch from the ground and see how the course works and decide if it's something you think he would enjoy or not. If you have any additional questions please feel free to reach out to us! Thanks!

Are you strapped to a safety line on all activities and do you have a combination package
Written April 24, 2016
Yes, you are always strapped in a safety harness and an instructor will make sure everyone knows how to use it. It is very safe as long as the person follows the rules and the training. As to any packages, I would contact Go Ape personnel.

I would like to know what the age or height rules are? My daughter is 8 years old and about 80 pounds very agile and a good climber would she be able to go Ape treetop adventuring? Thank you!
Written January 31, 2016
yes because my niece was 8 when it opened and she went on that when she was here for A vacation, they live in MI

Are there places to take a break along the way?
This is on my husbands bucket list and he and I might need a break.
Written June 6, 2015
Hi, thanks for your interest in Go Ape! There are spots to take a break along the way at Go Ape.
Our Treetop Adventure course is made up of 5 individual sections. You'll start with a training section and then move on to the rest of the course. Each section starts with a rope ladder into the trees, followed by tree to tree obstacles, and finishes with a zip line that takes you back to the ground.
Since you're back on the ground in between sections, you are welcome to take a break before continuing onto the next section. There are benches at the start of each section before the rope ladder where you can sit to rest. We encourage everyone to go at their own pace and there is no time limit to complete the course. Hope this helps, but let us know if you have any other questions.
