Parked across the street and took a walk down to the beach area and it was really nice! Didn't realize until we got back and I looked on line that this park is 4,000 acres plus! The side near the beach has a large parking area but it was closed and we could not find on the website when it... More

We really enjoy playing disc golf at the Buck Creek course. There are beautiful views of the water, along with nice trails through the woods. Make sure to take lots of water, though, on sunny days.

We are so very fortunate to live so close to a beautiful and well kept park. There is so much to see and do. We hike as many other we are able. Always offers something new to love just around the path.

This park is the place to collect your thoughts, enjoy nature, walk the trails, you can ride your horses on the horse trails. The boating is great you can rent a pontoon or any other boats available, the fuel is there for your boats when you need, and food at the restaurant / store is great. I drive out there... More

Clean well managed walkways with a nice view of the reservoir and neighboring Reid Park. Great place to walk ... the crossing of the damnation, the visitor center, and the spillway area all offer a pleasant walking experience. Boating, kayaking, and picnicking in the spring and summer have always been positive experiences ... restrooms were clean ...

Bald eagles even find this a great place to visit. I have seen them there a few times. I live in the area and visit this park 5 or more times a year over the past 25 years. Some nice areas for children to run around and fly a kite. It is a great place to get outdoors anytime of... More

We made our reservation online for a 2 nite weekend. The spaces seem to be pretty good size. I never visited the bathroom but hubby did. he took a shower, said it was nice enough. We stopped at the ck-in/store to get our tag for our spot. It had alot of different items, some essentials. Visited the marina, it was... More

Camped in 30ft RV for 1 night while visiting Dayton. About 45 minutes to Air Force Museum . Easy access in/out. Spaces are narrow but level. No water or sewer sites. Requires min of 2 night stay on weekend so cost $60 for "one " night. All pet sites and leash policy not followed. Neighbors golden retriever came by and... More

Hiking, fishing, boating, horse-back riding, camping and star gazing. It's really all here at Buck Creek State Park! We had a wonderful family reunion this month with cabins rented and people camping too. The out of towners were pleasantly surprised with the accomadations and would come back.
