    One beautiful park!
I have been visiting Sharon Woods Park since I was a little girl. I still find myself returning from time to time till this day as I am in my mid 50's. There are many walking trails that are great to explore. I also enjoy the boathouse. The Historical Village is by far my favorite area to visit with all it's history. The park just keeps getting better and better to visit. The pricing has increased throughout the years to be able to maintain such a beautiful park.

Great Family Park in Hamilton County
I lived in Sharonvile for 8 years. My house backed up to Sharon Woods. I walked this park daily with my dog. This park is family friendly with lots of activities for kids. It has hiking, water sports and a very nice playground. I always felt safe and the park is well maintained.

    Beautiful State Park
Beautiful park! I took a bus load of seniors here on a rainy day but we still enjoyed the fall colors. The center is beautiful and has a nice gift shop, free coffee bar, a nice educational nature center and very clean restrooms. The golf course is beautiful and we even saw a few deer as we drove through the park. This is a state park and it’s very well maintained. You can buy a yearly pass or a day pass.

Busy metro park on a weekday, late afternoon. We were in town from Michigan and enjoyed a couple of walks throughout the park as well as a nice drive from one entrance (Lebanon Rd.) to the exit near the golf course. Beautiful, large, and with the exception of the algae filled lake, very well maintained. The Heritage Village Museum was closed but you could see much of it from the trails. Area residents are blessed with this great park.

We took our 6 year old friend for a hike on a Sunday afternoon. We took the Gorge trail which climbs above the main stream for views of the lake, dam and a waterfall. But the hit of the day was a side trail we found about half way along the trail. It was a dirt path that headed off to the North and down to a creek. We had a fun time turning over rocks to hopefully find critters. We found some small fish and crayfish but the highlight was discovering a salamander. He's still talking about it!

Sharon Woods is a besutiful example of a nature park. We drove through the entire park and really enjoyed the sunlight coming through the trees. We saw a mother and her baby deer jumping around in a clearing. We enjoyed the boats and paddle boats too.

This park is always busy no matter the weather. The lake is beautiful. The holiday in lights is outstanding as well. The park is well kept and you can fish as well. Lots of wildlife.

This park is chuck full of trails and natural beauty. There is a golf course, a museum, a small lake, a museum - and that's just what I saw while I was there geocaching on one of the few challenge coin geocaches in the State.

Highly recommend!!!

This park has green, beautiful walking paths around mature trees with multiple creeks and small waterfalls. It's perfect for a slow nature stroll or a fast-paced jog. There are playgrounds for small kids, a place to get ice cream and lunch, fishing on the piers, and my favorite-- the paddle boats you can rent. All day parking is just three dollars and paddle boat rental is quick and cheap, with provided life jackets if you want them.

The park is dog friendly, kid friendly, and a great place to spend an afternoon. They're open from sun rise to sun set so the hours fit your schedule. Had a wonderful day there!

Our family has gone to Sharon Woods for many events, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, and the upcoming holiday, Father's Day. Every time we go we always have a place to gather together and have even been able to snag a shelter with no reservation! The boats are SO fun and there is always enough of them for our whole family!! There is always 22 of us!! Great trail to walk on and there is so much nature to take in!! Highly recommend Sharon Woods!!
