If you grew up in Sandusky in the late ‘60s/early ‘70s and you remember Faroh’s candies downtown, run, don’t walk, to Sweet Treats & Treasures on Scott St. It has all the goods, and they’re as delicious as ever—French chocolates, signature mints, and more. The owners take pride in their products (which include more than just Faroh’s), in their shop, and in good customer service. Postscript: If you aren’t familiar with Faroh’s, you should be. Go. I traveled all the way from New Mexico for mine.
