After dropping our teenagers at Cedar Point for the day, we decided to explore the area and stumbled upon this trail. I'm so glad we did. The first part is fairly shaded, then the trail winds around the waterway around the Cedar Point peninsula. (The trail needed mowing, but was still passable). It's a pretty meadow area and a flat... You are able to walk the trials and enjoy the birds and wildlife. Wild flowers, trees. Just so much wildlife to see and so many trees, really a nice place to take the kids to learn about nature.

Went here in hopes of a nice walk around the lake/area. It was very poorly labeled with no trail map. We took a chance and started walking and were attacked by bugs and mosquitoes. I love it because no matter where you turn you're surrounded by water and lovely views. It takes about an hour if you only walk the outside trail, but you can make the walk as long or short as you want because the place is laid out like a pie. Walk one slice or all four.

This reclaimed wildlife area is a fun, relaxing place to hike in the spring and early summer. Lots of migratory birds are nearby and hardcore birders can view lots of species. Also a good place for watersnake viewing. As summer moves in and the Cedar Point rush picks up, the location of Pipe Creek works against it as the bustle... More
