Spend one or two hours exploring and touring the beautiful paths and byways that bring Sandusky's past to life. Cruise our city, the coastal bay area, bike paths and parks. Come discover Sandusky! Some say it's as thrilling as an amusement park! Daily One hr. tours are at 2PM. The 2 hr, tours operate at 11AM and 4PM. Sunday one hr. tours are at 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM and 1 PM for the two hr. tour. We hope to see you soon! Please book online for full availability of dates and times for you, your friends and family! Both Jim and Will were great and made this experience fun. They are awesome instructors and made it easy to get acclimated to. The Christmas lights were great and the added touch of Christmas music in the ear piece was great. Friends and I are planning the historic tour in the summer.

Will was an incredibly fun and good tour guide! This is my second time taking a tour here, but my first time on the Holiday Lights Tour. It was wonderful!!

Jason, you and your friends sure made it fun for Will, isn't he great! The Holiday Lights Evening tours offer a unique experience. Something that is so different than our usual history tours that we run most of the year. December tours makes a great way to "get into the spirit" of the season. The Holiday Lights tour was grrreat! As you learn to relax and enjoy the ride you’ll be singing right along with the music. Great fun and great tour guide (Jim). What’s not to like? Give yourself a Christmas gift and go on this tour.

We chose this experience for a staff Christmas outing, and it was a great choice! All ages can participate. Jim was attentive, funny and a great teacher. Can't wait to do it again!

This is the best way to see the beautiful holiday decorations in downtown Sandusky in a unique way. They give you an ear piece so the tour director can tell you fun facts and when bumps are coming but they also play Christmas music during the whole tour to really put you in the spirit of the season. I was a first timer and the tour guide does an excellent job teaching everyone how to use the Segway before you start on the tour. Safety is taken seriously and I felt like a pro by the end of the tour and ready to do another tour. This was so much fun and I plan to do this tour next year and others in the warmer months. I highly recommend this for a girls night, date night, or with any group. They end the night with a cup of hot chocolate to warm you up!!

Highly recommend! Will was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and made the tour super fun. Great way to see the city! Can’t wait to do the holiday lights tour this Xmas.

Thank you! Will does super fun tours, we agree. I love the title of your review, and so many thanks for making it finally happen. The Holiday Lights tours are kicking today, the Friday after Thanksgiving, so we will plan to have you back anytime, until December 23rd. Nightly at 6:00 and 7:30 PM. Now that you have the Segway experience the night tours will be a breeze! Dress warm and thanks for the great review! Will is doing the Holiday Lights tours also, so be sure and ask for Will. Jim was an amazing guide. We had purchased our tour in the early spring and like most everything the summer/warm months got away from us. We had one good Sunday in the early November forecast and decided to try our luck. It was an amazing afternoon. We are from nearby Fremont and frequent downtown Sandusky quite often but had wanted to try the Segways and to our surprise the tour gave us so many new insights that we had been missing. This was one of our monthly mother/daughter adventures and we had such a great time. I highly recommend the 2 hour tour. You won't be disappointed.

Thank you shelly, it was the perfect day for your mother/daughter adventure. Sandusky downtown is evolving into quite the destination and not that far from Fremont. Not being from Sandusky myself, I spent long hours with "my books" and had so much fun researching and finding tidbits that I thought were unusual, like the Sandusky Soap Company which was on W. Water St.. Each year summer comes and seems to just float right by so quickly. The shoulder seasons are good for us in that respect. Glad you got to use your tour before the year got away from you. Jim took us out on a sunny fall Sunday afternoon. It was an awesome adventure. First, he did a great job talking us through how to ride/drive the Segway. They were a little intimidating at first but SO fun once I got the hang of it. Then we buzzed around Sandusky with him stopping periodically to provide some history of the area. His tour of Sandusky was both fun and informative. All around great tour, highly recommend.

Sunday afternoons has to be one of my most favorite times to lead a Segway tour. With the changing leaves and a slight chill in the air, they are the best. I love your comment, which I am not sure of and I think both are true. Do you ride or drive a Segway? I think both! It is definitely a participation activity. Glad you had fun, that is always my objective and to give a 5 star worthy tour. Thank you, Jim

We had such an AWESOME time!! Jim was fantastic! Definitely recommend the 2 hour tour! It was very informative and I learned so much that I never knew was in my own state! I would recommend bringing a jacket or dressing a little warmer just because you do tour close to the water and it can get a little chilly. It was so much fun!!

Hi! I am so glad you mentioned to dress a little warmer, with the fall chill, that is great advise. Growing up outside of Columbus, OH not Sandusky, I really knew nothing about her past. I collected some great tour information about Sandusky and put the 2 hour tour together. There is so much history that I was unfamiliar with as well, so I dug really deep for some great content, I am happy you enjoyed your tour. i and thanks for asking. The tours run 5 times a day and 3 on Sundays. Everything can be booked live at Sandusky Segwave at our website. At the top of the page, reserve a tour button.
The 1 hr. tour is $39.95 and 2 hr, tour is $65.00 per person.
