    Great outing for a day
We had a great time. We were two families with kids aged from 13 to 18. We spent the entire day at Cedar Point. We brought our own picnic lunch. The slides and activities varied in difficulty and scariness. Plenty for people of different ages and abilities.

    Decent
The experience was great. I have gone 4 times now and it's always a blast. I would have given a higher rating but this last time I went, it took a hour and a half to leave the park. I walked out of the park entrance at 7:45 but wasn't able to leave the parking lot until 9:32. I feel like there could be a better way to organize it, but all in all, a great weekend trip.

Cedar Point best ride views and roller coasters
If you love roller coasters this is the place to be. The views of Lake Erie from Millennium Force, Magnum xl-200, Steel Vengeance are amazing. The most breathtaking views were on Top Thrill 2 you saw the lake all around you. I love rides with good water or wooded views. The staff that I had interactions with whether ride operators or restaurants were friendly and knowledgeable. Even when rides went down the hard working ride maintenance team had them up and running again in an acceptable amount of time. This is my favorite park and I have been to a few.

Huge park great for coaster enthusiasts
As a coaster enthusiast I was blown away by this park! There was so much to do in one day but we managed to get on most of the bigger coasters. I would definitely love to come back and enjoy everything we missed. We only have one day to come to the park on Mothers day. It was a very memorable experience. I was glad I purchased the express passes to reduce line time however I was very let down that TT2 was closed which I had paid extra for in my express pass. Gemini was also unavailable that day and Valrvn had many break downs unfortunately. Guest services told me we could always come back another day except I explained to her that we flew in from Las Vegas for this experience so we don't have the luxury of just coming back within the year. They could have at least offered to give us some food/drink passes to make up for the money I wasted up grading my express pass for a ride that was not available to me. Food and drink at the park was very pricey for what we were given. I think I paid over $20 for 3 tiny pieces of beef that was very dry. We did pay for the photo package to capture all our fun pics and that was totally worth it. The people at the booths were very helpful when getting your pics centered just right also. Sometimes they don't come out correctly on the kiosk but they can crop them for you if you ask.

Great park but there are a few problems
The park is great. It has many diverse rides. Almost everyone can find something to ride. The roller coasters are incredible. There are intense coasters for thrill seekers and kid-friendly coasters. The only complaints I have are that the food is too expensive and not very diverse. $10 for chips is unreasonable. There are also very few vegan options. The queue jumping is terrible, and no employees or guards seem to do anything about it. The employees almost exclusively letting fast pass holders on rides with long queues is also a problem. But overall, I love Cedar Point and it is a great park.

One of the greatest amusement parks in world. HalloWeekends is amazing but pick your day wisely.
Cedar Point is truly one of if not the greatest amusement parks in the world. If you love coasters, there simply isn't another park that has more options for you. If calmer or kid-friendly rides are your thing, there is also plenty to do. If you aren't a ride person, the live entertainment options also put this park on top. It's a very large park (acreage-wise) so this allows them to do some nice things with the scenery. Frontier Trail is a wonderful shaded walk with plenty to take in. Make sure to take the train ride back from Frontierland to the center of the park as it's got a fun skeleton-themed attraction built into it. HalloWeekends is an amazing event. If you're headed out there, be aware that Saturdays are always the busiest, craziest days. Fridays (while limited hours) often are less crowded and still have all of the rides and haunted events available. Although not all of the haunted houses are open on Sundays it is the best day to go if you are very worried about crowds. Again, the live entertainment during HalloWeekends is excellent. I saw another reviewer call out the Midnight Syndicate show as being exceptional.

    Fun rides, but long waits
Went on a Military Day on Memorial Day weekend. As a veteran I got in free, and our son and granddaughter got in half-price as my guests. So that was nice. Cedar Point has a wide range of rides for all ages and tolerances for "thrill" (they even have a guide rating the thrill level of each ride, which is helpful). Had a good lunch at the Grand Pavilion next to the beach. The downside of the experience was that even though there weren't an extreme number of people at the park, ride wait times tended to be quite long because it seemed the rides were understaffed. A number of the rides had just one attendant, and it seemed that loading/unloading would have been much quicker with additional ride attendants. Perhaps this was at least in part due to the park gearing up for the season. We stood in line for the ferris wheel for a half-hour with only about twenty people in line ahead of us (there are 36 cars on the wheel), and the line was hardly moving at all due to the inscrutable way they were (or were not) unloading and loading the cars. We finally gave up on the ferris wheel because it looked like we would be standing there for another half-hour.

    Beloved Cedar Point!
In younger days, I could not wait to ride every thrilling coaster until the tops of my thighs were riddled with bruises! Now, in my sixties, I am happy just to stroll around the park and enjoy the views from The Big Wheel, some shows, and the tamer rides. I am still thrilled by the charm and convenience of The Breakers and would recommend staying there, but bring some healthy foods from home and a coffee pot!

A Great Experience at Cedar Point
My experience at cedar point was amazing! While this park does gain a significant amount of crowds, the number of attractions spread all of the guests throughout the park. Even though some rides had an hour or more wait, I understood since they were the newest additions to the park. Most of the staff that I encountered were very nice and helpful. Overall my experience was very good. One of the downfalls of this park is the staggered openings of certain rides throughout the day. Rides such as Gemini didn’t open until noon. This might not sound like a big deal, but for a park this size, it made the rides that were open very busy. Other than this, it was very difficult to find something not to like here. They have a ride for almost everyone. My family really enjoyed roller coasters such as steel vengeance and millennium force. If you are looking for something to do this summer, I would recommend spending 2 to 3 days to enjoy everything this park has to offer.

    Had a Blast
Great park (as long as everything is open). I hate the idea of Fast Lane, but the Fast Lane + saved us so much time. We don't come often so we have to make the most of it, and it allowed us to ride everything multiple times. Go on a Tuesday or Wednesday for the thinnest crowds. Get the drink wrist band, grab a drink between rides and drink in line especially if it's hot - stay hydrated! Ride Maverick when you can, it breaks down often so get on when you can. Remember it's an amusement park, nothing will go perfect. If you lower your expectations you will have a blast. Food - Backbeat BBQ was our fav, Hugo's pizza and Farmhouse were really good, but we did not care for Pavillion.

We stayed at the hotel breakers and did 2 park days. I highly recommend spending the money to stay there in the summer when it's hot ..you will need to come back to the room and take a break especially if you are older like myself haha..
Cedar Point is a huge park and there doesn't seem to be too much shade compared to other parks. There is a lot of walking and in the heat you wear out quickly. We visited June 28th and 29th. Staffing seems to be pretty good to me..all staff was pretty friendly and professional. We purchase tickets through the hotel for $50 a person a day. Based upon other reviews and people I spoke to at the hotel I do not recommend Fastpass tickets. we didn't purchase them. there were a lot of complaints that rides were either not open or fast pass lines just as long because they were oversold. I would definitely skip that just do more park days so you can knock out the things in the morning you really want and take breaks. The park offers a lot for everyone but the main focus is on coasters so if that's not your thing you may want to check online with the other rides they have. We hit a week of dodging rain storms so the park also was closing a lot it seems late afternoon into dinner time then it would reopen later..Factor that in as well if you've never been there.. I would maybe do three Park days to allow for weather heat and ride closures.. expect very long lines as the day progresses like any park... get the refill cup it is worth it and keep yourself hydrated all day. We didn't find the app very accurate or helpful. Next time we may also the actor in sometime for the water park which is separate it looks very nice and refreshing. I would recommend anyone skip the Magnum coaster it is very old and rickety even my two fifteen-year-olds said it was too rough and they ride anything so consider yourself warned on that one. The Magnum was a great coaster but I think it's had its time. Have a good time it's a nice place with beautiful lake views just set your expectations accordingly.

Let me start with my being a season pass holder on and off since 1999. This park is an hour and a half from home and I know it well. Are the coasters great? Absolutely! Is the park being poorly run? You bet! A few year back a “fast lane” and “fast lane plus” was added to many rides (not all). Pay an extra $120ish on top of my park ticket and you get to skip the lines. Most amusement parks are doing this so
I don’t blame them for keeping up. However, Cedar point is NOT limiting their fast pass sales. My experience is I spent over $450 for fast pass plus tickets and faced 1 hour plus waits in the FAST PASS line. Some normal lines were shorter!!! Mind you, I was used to hour waits in the normal line. My expectation for fast pass was to wait 15 minutes or less AND get on all rides during a 1 day visit. I got on a total of 4 coasters. (Side note, top thrill dragster is always closed due to weather. If you are buying the “plus” for this ride, just don’t….). I recently visited Universal Studios with fast passes. The longest I waited was 15 minutes and some rides I walked up and got right on. Cedar point, either truly limit your fast pass sales or get ride of the line all together! Shame on you for overselling it and not refunding people. This visit was my worst I ever had in any park in 20 plus years. Very disappointed in you.

I love this park. I have been coming here for many years. World class coasters and the location on the lake is beautiful.

There are many restrictions in place due to covid-19 and there is limited staff available. Many rides, attractions and restaurants are either open for only limited times throughout the day or not open at all. Lines for rides can take longer since they are not being filled to full capacity due to social distancing rules. The more popular attractions like Maverick, Millennium Force and Steel Vengeance are only accessible by way of a pass that you obtain by waiting in line at the entrance of each ride. These passes go very quickly and on our particular day were gone before noon. Luckily we got to the park by 10am and were able to obtain these passes. Word of note. The passes have a one hour window that tells you when you can get in line for the ride. This is your line enter time. This is not your time to actually get on the ride. From there you wait in line like any other ride. So if that line has a hour and a half wait. That is how long you wait. The other rides that don’t require passes have long lines too. So not a lot of riding is going to happen during your stay. People are obeying the social distancing rules for most part and are wearing masks. But remember Cedar Point is still charging the full price for the admission but not all the attractions, rides and restaurants will be open. Due to the conditions of the world we live in right now, I would probably wait to spend my money on a full admission ticket and only get maybe 1/2 the choices. And due to the longer wait times in line because of reduce capacity of the rides that are open, you won’t have enough time in the short time the park is open (reduced hours also) to experience what they do have open and available. Just be patient and wait for another time to experience this great park.

Waste of time. We bought passes for 5 days, we went 2 days and the teenage kids did not want to go back. 1 day in the dry park, 1 day in the Waterpark and they had enough. Lines were crazy long, we would see a ride going, by the time we got to it, it was closed for maintenance, at least half of the coasters were not running. In the waterpark the attendants were moving like snails, not sending up the tubes for the family ride, i think just to make you wait longer. We only got on 1 roller coaster, and a handful of other rides. It was the worst park we have ever been to, the map wasn't even very good, parking was insane, no trolly and the spots were super tight. Will not go back, so disappointed. Prefer Kings Dominion or Hershey Park.

Our family now feels penalized for staying on site (Light House Point) for 3 days. Approx 2 weeks prior to our reservation, I tried to purchase our usual tickets, but learned that there are no 3 day ticket packages anymore that include admission to both Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores (purchase Cedar Point ticket and Cedar Point Shores free admission). This was our annual visit and prior to COVID, there were 3 day ticket packages that included both. Now, I must be creative on the ticket combinations to figure out how we enjoy the parks, but it comes much higher cost (few hundred dollars more). The first day, a daily ticket for Cedar Point only at a cost of $46 or $52 pp. Admission to the shores would cost additional $60 pp for first day. The next two days, purchased Two Day, Any Day tickets that include both parks at $79.99 pp. The same problem exists if staying 1 or 2 days too. There are no one day tickets that includes both parks; must pay separate admission fees. Seems like Cedar Point Shores is now being operated as a separate entity for their benefit and certainly not for the families that go there. Since we are returning customers, we discovered this major change that cost us lots of extra money and one less day at the Shores. I feel sorry for the customers who are traveling to Cedar Point for the first time and are not aware of the additional cost that are being charged to them over recent past pricing. I sent an email to Customer Service over a week ago complaining of the new policy, but I haven’t heard back from them yet.

Cedar Point offers a wide variety of high intensity coasters and other rides for adventure seekers. Cedar Point is well landscaped and surrounded by Lake Erie. This is a terrific park if you are looking for a thrill. During the month of June, Cedar Point is open 5-days per week due to staffing shortages. A few of the rides were closed in the park.

The Fast Pass is one negative offered by Cedar Point. Those with a lot of money can pay to skip to the head of the line. However, this creates long lines for those who cannot afford to pay for the advanced passes or groups. Some coaster lines were 1 to 2 hours wait time on a Friday. I can only imagine the wait times on the weekend.

Food and concession prices are ridiculous. It would be very hard for someone on a budget to afford to bring a family to this park.

The park was clean and presentable. Staff appeared to be friendly. Plenty of restroom throughout the park.

STAY AWAY (until Covid is over). Wait times on ALL roller coasters were twice as long as usual. They're only running cars half full at most. New coasters now require an access ticket which you have to wait in line for at least an hour to even get that. Mask rules strictly enforced. Some rides closed. Just not pleasant...

A good amusement park for the entire family. Spent an entire day at the park and we still didn’t see everything in the park. The roller coasters we did ride were awesome. Plenty of rides for young children which our daughter loved. Food prices are reasonable for an amusement park. And the staff was very friendly.

But why a three bubble rating? Let’s start with the Fast Lane Plus. We paid over $110 dollars for ONE Fast Lane Plus wristband. Checked their website today and it was being sold for $160. Their website states they offer a limited number of these but on two different occasions it was faster to wait in the regular line than using the Fast Lane Plus. Busch Gardens Quick Lane starts around 70 dollars and Six Flags Texas Platinum (which will reduce your wait time by 90 percent) was $145. Way overpriced!!
Parking was issue. Understand that there are limited ways to leave the island but took us almost a hour to exit. But signage on where to go to exit is lacking. Would have been longer if we would have followed everyone else. Luckily we saw an exit sign from a distance at the actual park exit.
Dress code - several guests were walking around in their underwear after getting off the water rides. Including one gentleman who was wearing speedo type underwear.

Expensive to park $20 and 45 to get in. Once in there are long lines, lucky to get to ride 5 or 6 of the newer rides due to 1 hr to 2 hour waiting in line. Food lines are long and food is mediocre and expensive.
Look for package deal to save some money and us one car to save on ridiculous parking rate. Pack picnic lunch to save money, there are some pavilion areas to picnic but use lockable coolers as there appeared to be no security to watch your belongings and some folks reported missing food/beverages

We were visiting for the day. First of all, make sure you buy your tickets online. At the window, the girl told us it would be $90 per ticket, but we could get them for much less online. I bought the tickets on my phone and paid $45 for a senior ticket and $59.99 for the other tickets. They do not hand out paper maps of the park, so you have to either download their app or look for bill board type maps in the park. They are big on coasters, so if that is your thing, you will be pleased. I asked about shows and there was no list of showtimes for the day (again you need the app), but we only saw one show advertised and it was only at 6:30. We were able to see a glass blowing demonstration, but I'm used to other parks that a variety of shows throughout the day. I never saw any kind of parade of the Snoopy characters that use as their theme. We waited a 1/2 hr to go on the new Snake River Expedition ride, which is an interactive ride where you go down a river and bandits are trying to rob the boat. It sounded like fun, but was really very corny. The actors in all fairness, were very enthusiastic, but the plot fell short. Food is out of site. We paid $20 for 4 bottles of Desani water and $15 for 2 hot pretzels at Auntie Anne's. We left the park when we were done and went elsewhere for dinner. If you're going to ride all of the coasters, I would say it's worth the price of admission. Otherwise, I say skip.
