The view from the top was wonderful! There is an elevator to take you up so you don't have to climb to the top. Great visit and a must if in the area. There are Park Rangers at the top that are very helpful in answering questions.

I have been going there for years it's beautiful and historic. Going to the top is awesome with get views! The younger kids might have a difficult time seeing over the ledge but a slight boost from mommy or daddy and they will be amazed.

Historic, with a great visitor center, movie, and replicas of the battle which school age children would enjoy. The scenic view at the top of the monument is awesome and park rangers were knowledgeable.

Always enjoy our time at the Monument! The view is outstanding at the top of the monument and the park is a great place to relax and watch the boats come in!

We went up the Perry Monument yesterday. It was very windy, but the view was amazing! You can see the whole island and some of the mainland. It was very affordable, being $5 a person for ages 6+, under 6 are free. It didn't take long at all to ride up and look around. With the wind and cold it... More

The views from the top of the memorial are stunning. You can see the bay, the other islands, the mainland and Canada. It provides a good perspective on the layout of your surroundings. There are a few steps that go up to a landing where you can take an elevator to the top. Get a brochure and read about Commodore... More

Enjoyed learning the history of the memorial. Provides a great view of the lake. We did not visit the observation deck since we are not able to climb many stairs. I think it cost $5 and there are other pricing options, as well.
