I loved that the zoo had sections devoted to regions of the world so that you could connect geographically with the animals and the cultural presentations that went with them. You could tell they put special attention in presentation and how exhibits were put together to create informational ambience. Most of the time this was really cool, sometimes it felt... More

Had a great time...first it's an all day thing so be prepared for a long day...so many animals to see an lots of things to participate in (such as feeding the giraffes)...you will spend some money but that's to be expected...we bought the ride pass and got more than our share of use out of it...the zoo it's self is... Excellent zoo and water park! Unfortunately couldn't see all of the zoo in 1 day as we had so much fun at the water park. Never made it to Australia, so I guess we need to go back!

This zoo is the best zoo there is as far as we are concerned. We have been to multiple zoos and still love this one. Very family and child oriented. Always clean and plenty of employees walking around to make sure it stays that way. Kids loved the train and the aquarium.

My husband and I have been zoo season pass holders for the past 3 years and have enjoyed all of our visits. The Columbus zoo has some of the nicest animal habitats by far. Because the animals have an adequate amount of space keep in mind that you will have to do some walking between exhibits. In the summer months... More

We went last month passing through Columbus. My family really enjoyed it l, and it is way more than a zoo. We enjoyed the rides and the animal encounters . They have several opportunities for people to buy food, pay to ride animals, and feed animals and some places even allow petting. The only problem I really had was most... More

Great attractions for young medium and not so young. Loved seeing kids in the rides. Totally encounters all the zoo animals. Especially the Eagles and camel. Kids were thrilled. God expensive. Beer is a nice feature. Especially the shandy!!

This zoo is well worth the hype and stands up to every expectation!!! I will definitely suggest going to some of the "keeper tours" that are free and give a different perspective on the animals. Literally spent the entire day here and cannot wait to go back!!!!!

Not really a bad thing to say. Very large zoo with a diverse collection of animals. Be prepared to do a lot of walking. Lots of young animals, too - lion cubs celebrating one year birthday, few month old polar bear cub and tiger cubs. Refillable drink option a bargain on a hot summer day (free refills all day long... It's Jack Hanna - nothing else needs to be said. Really nice zoo, family friendly. A lot of rescue animals. Support it.
