The Murals are great and done in such detail. The history of Portsmouth is very interesting to say the least. It was going great until the mill and shoe companies one by one closed.

Come stroll or drive to see the beautiful depictions of times past in Portsmouth, Ohio. The story unfolds about life along the beautiful Ohio River, The Erie Canal, steel mill, railroad to the pro football team. The flood wall murals are breathtaking.

The wall tells a very interesting story about Portsmouth history. It also tells the story of the artist that painted it. It is a real must see! Words don't do it justice.

Very interesting for history buffs. Great artistic work. Take your time to study each picture. Always try to at least drive by the wall when we are in the area. Sometimes you find things you looked over on previous visits.
