Was a quaint park overlooking the river with parking in lower level with picnic tables. City spending 1.6 mill to renovate to make handicapped accessible with lit ramp to lower level. No parking will be nearby. will not have picnic area. Billed as a neighborhood park. Must be, as only neighbors can park nearby and use. On busy street with... More

We camped with our travel trailer for a few days at the park. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The campgrounds were kept very clean including the bath houses. The roads were in good repair. There was quite a bit of wildlife to see. A great place to visit.

Up till recently the view from the bluff overlooking the Maumee River is panoramic. There are major changes happening till November this year. Should be some nice additions when complete.

Yes great view from the top. The cannons are not original but may have been from a refitted ship from the 100th anniversary refitting. But you want to go behind Perry's monument and take the partially hidden road which takes you below the park, for a very interesting view of the rear of a number of houses along front street

The city of Toledo totally did a great job. This park had patrol, marina, and long drive paths, I am definitely visiting again.

We walk here occasionally and it does remind us how lucky we are to live by the water. It's really nothing special as far as the park itself. But on the same token, I don't think it needs to be anything special. The view speaks for itself.

This is an overlooked site for War of 1812 buffs, located at the foot of Perrysburg's historic shopping district. Look for the statue of Oliver Hazard Perry, then gaze across the Maumee River to the area where the Brits set up their cannon battery to bombard Fort Meigs.

This is a very nice place to walk, jog, eat, talk an even for a romantic moment with your special person. Sundowns are really beautiful and this is also a historic place. Recommended. I live in Perrysburg and have been there many times.

This small local park situated on a 60-foot high bluff overlooking the Maumee River provides a wide vista view across the water to Ewing Island, part of the Lucas County Park System. with binoculars you can see deer, herons, bald eagles, geese, swans, ducks and other wildlife on the island and along the riverbanks. As a local historian who has... More
