We love a trip to this area. there is so much to do for the entire family. Keep a sharp eye on the road when you get near because it is hard to spot. My favorite is the book store. The books are very inexpensive and the money collected is used for a good cause. There are brochures listing the various classes that are available. The workers are friendly and helpful also.

Love coming here with my 8 year old son
He has a great time exploring the grounds. Sometimes if it's to rainy then you cant get down to the river but if it's been dry make sure to go down to the river path. The biodome is awesome. They also have classes

577 Foundation is a fantastic outdoor education experience. It has a geodesic biodome with a koi pond and amazing plants.There is a cool indoor outdoor bee hive that you can watch the bees up close . Beautiful gardens to walk through.Lots of wonderful kid activities outside. They have a great used book store and offer pottery for a donation from their pottery classes.

This is a gem. Great place to get in touch with nature, take a class, enjoy a walk through gardens, explore plants, animals and sounds with your child. I have spent many hours here with family and always find something new to enjoy.

Went here with the kids a little while ago. They had several used books for sale for Very cheap. The kids were all excited to pick out their own. It was too cold at the time of our visit to walk around and explore outside but we will def be back

This is a great place for kids and families of all ages. The kids can play on the rock wall and the musical instruments and the parents can sit on the benches and watch or join in. VERY interactive for all ages!! There is a community garden, and you can go inside the greenhouse and feed the fish in the pond.

Great gardens and lots of activities you can sign up your kids for, its a place where nature and art meet. It is a historic home that was left for the public to enjoy!

Amazing place to stop, walk, and explore on your own or with your kids. Fossil dig is fabulous, awesome dome green house, and great used book area, community gardens, children’s gardens and creative play areas! The 577 Foundation offers many classes for children and adults for nominal charges. One of my favorite places to escape no matter what the weather!

Virginia Stranahan founded and left her estate to The 577 Foundation in Perrysburg. Great gardens and a tropical biodome are among the features. There is a kid's play area with climbing wall, musical instruments, a fossil bed, and in the warmer months a stage area where your kids (or adults) can put on their own puppet show. A used book store offers many titles at very reasonable prices. There are also shops for making pottery and other crafts.
