bridge is worth a trip to see in a nice park area
May 2021
The black covered bridge is really neat to see and you can walk across it. it is at the end of a road with a walking path and small park like setting. amazing structure to covered bridges and this one does not disappoint

this is a pretty place to visit if you like covered bridges. it was easy to find, not a lot of people there when we were there so we could take our time walking around

Beautiful covered bridge
Oct 2018 • Couples
Lovely setting across Four Mile Creek. It is easily accessible from Oxford. It has a paved walking trail and a paved parking area. Each season has its own beauty. Relaxing spot.

There are not many covered bridges around anymore. This one was restored and now you can walk on it!

It’s a covered bridge
Sep 2018 • Couples
It may mean more to folks who appreciate the history of covered bridges or who are seeking to visit all of them in a region. We found it to be a quick 15 minute stop while in town for a college football game. That was enough time to read the plaque and walk the length of the bridge and back. Convenient parking area. Located at the end of a residential street near Miami U.

Nice. Smells authentic. If you don't understand that comment, walk through. Nice start to a wonderful stroll across Oxford's natural trail.

Historic Bridge.

Historic and beautiful. It is part of a walking/biking path. This would be a great place for family, graduation, or wedding pics.

Short but Sweet
Aug 2018 • Family
We saw this from the road as we were driving by, and decided to take a look. We’re from New England so are familiar with covered bridges, and this was a taste of home in an otherwise unfamiliar landscape. It was a nice little detour on our way into town, but it would be better if there was more signage/maps. A hidden gem well worth your time.

Part of a beautiful trail system
Jul 2018 • Friends
The covered bridge is part of the Oxford Recreational trails system for biking and walking. Much of this section is paved, although large sections are in the woods in wide, cinder-covered paths. The covered bridge is historic and beautifully maintained. You can cross through it as part of a long or short hike or ride.
