My son and I did this activity on a cold morning. It was windy and cold but the staff and canopy tour made us forget about the bad weather.

The guides (Bethany and Jared) exceeded our expectations and made the tour a blast. Both of them were very knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. They created a relaxed and safe atmosphere while paying attention to each guest. Bethany even tied my shoe laces and helped me with my glasses fogging up! (Don’t forget to tip the guides if you are also pleased!)

The course itself of course is also awesome. It took us a few hours, and each zipline was really fun. There were stairs and bridges for us to cross. The views were awesome. The guides take photos throughout the tour. Highly recommend buying the photos if you want to keep a memory. They know all the best angles to take photos and you should not be trying to take them yourself.

This canopy tour requires you to break by placing one of your hands (with gloves on) above your head. If you can’t do that, the existing zipline break should still work but no one in our group needed to use it. It took us only one zip to get the feeling of the break.

Strength is not needed for this tour. It seems anyone over 10 who is generally healthy can do the tour if they can listen to and follow directions, don’t have a fear of heights, can climb stairs without losing balance and put their hands above their heads to break. The guides said they helped a 95 year old woman do the tour.

Oh, and the composting toilet at the site was really neat too. No sewer system.
Human waste is composted and grey water is collected in a bin and taken off site later on.

The whole tour zipped by really fast. It is a non profit organization doing an awesome job with the tours with awesome guides. Well worth your money and time. Highly recommend this zipline tour - add to your bucket list!

During a visit to Lake Erie we took a detour to Oberlin for the canopy tour zip line adventure. We took our two 14-year-old boys and had an amazing time! The tour guides were a lot of fun to talk with and had lots to share about the trees, the area, silly jokes and had a great way of connecting with the group. We were so pleased with our adventure and would definitely return! Highly recommended. We look forward to more zip line adventures as a family now because our experience was so great.

I felt completely safe with our 2 tour guides. This was my first time zip lining, and with each zip I got more comfortable. I felt good just in ground school. Spent 30 minutes putting on gear, ground school before 2 1/2 hrs on the canopy tour. Nothing exciting to look at, but you are among the trees and also go on a couple bridges, floating staircase. I had a nice group with 7 other participants ranging from high school age to retirees. I had a great time.

I took my 10 year old son here recently. It was only us on the tour which was nice and my guides were Jared and Michael. The place itself is beautiful and I would give it a higher rating if only their guide Jared understood how to speak to children and to have patience. Some kids don't understand some things right away and that seemed to be a huge problem for Jared. I would think this place being so kid friendly and having a kids day camp that the guides would have more kindness and understanding for their customers. If Michael wouldn't have been the other guide on this trip I would have probably opted out. It felt like we were annoying Jared and he didn't want to be there. Thank you to Michael for picking up the slack in this area.

Had a great time doing the canopy tour - so much fun! I gave this to my husband for a father's day present and we both loved it. I was unsure if I wanted to do it because I don't like heights, but the instruction and the care that the guides took with the safety harnesses were wonderful and I felt very safe throughout the tour. The guides were so kind, funny, yet professional - they really made it a great experience. We were so glad we did this - and can't wait to bring family along next time they are here!

Jared and MaKayla, our tour guides, were amazing. At no time did we feel unsafe and they were extremely helpful. They each had a great sense of humor and talk to us about the history of the area. The scenery was beautiful and we even got to see a fox. We were first time zip liners (vegas doesn't count) and I would tell anyone to go here first. Great Experience and great adventure.

We celebrated my 13 year old's birthday with a zipline experience. Ages 17, 13, and 48 I was the most nervous with the height on the first tower but they guides were great, safety focused, and very reassuring. Each zip got easier and I overcame my anxiety by the third zip. We went during the peak color of the fall leaves, the views from the platform and along the zipping were amazing. Our guides taught us fun facts about the different trees and animal information on the platforms between zips. I highly recommend the experience and hope to do the fall fire walk next year.

Our family had an amazing experience! Our group included three adults and four kids ages 10-13 years old. Our guides were great! They were very knowledgeable and encouraging! I loved how long the zip lines were and that the guides were with you throughout the trip. We also loved learning nature facts along the way!
