Was really excited when Hard Rock Rocksino first opened. Now I feel like I roam around trying to find a machine to play and when I do, my money goes very fast. I know I am going to lose the money, but it would be nice to get a little play time.
The restaurants are very good and so are the concerts and comedy club. But all in all...you will lose your money on the slots. They are too tight.

My wife and I saw Chris D'elia at the Velvet Lounge, and we had a terrific time. The Hard Rock had amazing food and the drinks were flowing steadily, despite their slightly excessive price tags. My biggest disappointment was the lack of any table games. I'm not sure if it's due to license and gaming restrictions, but if the Rocksino had black jack or roulette I think I would have had an even better time.

As for the table games, while we would welcome the opportunity to offer a larger array of gaming options such as table games, poker, and blackjack, electronically or otherwise, the Ohio Lottery Commission has yet to authorize these games and as such we cannot offer these games at this time. The gaming facility was ok, Average at best. The prostitutes were everywhere, and I felt quite uncomfortable in this venue.

Mrs. Watkins is supposed to be in charge of customer service. Several voicemails and o even drive there in person had them hand deliver her a message to discuss a situation and she can’t even have the decency to respond! Horrible management! I spend thousands there over only the past couple months and they can’t even call me. We will not be back!

The last time I was there I plated the machines to the tune of about 500.00. It only took 2 hours to loose that much betting 50 cents a pull. I counted 35 spins on one machine with absolutely no hits, not even a couple of cents. The machines are so tight that my friend, who was playing right next to me hit a bonus playing 2 dollars a spin. When the bonus was finished, his bonus winnings where 2 dollars and 50 cents! What a ripoff! I personally think the machines are seriously rigged and I will never return to that CHEATSINO! It was so bad that I overheard another patron say he wished the whole place burned down! I went there three times, and each time the machines payed nothing. I have been to Vegas, Horseshoe, and many others, but this place is practically criminal in the way they STEAL your money. I would love to see their payout percentages because its easy to see that they are paying out about 2 percent!

I love the design of the entrance and the bathrooms were very clean the food okay this casino was a lot like the Horseshoe staff people all over the quest made me feel uncomfortable while gambling I know there's cameras but dang I was afraid to take my money out and I was told you only win if you bet 3.00 and up on the slots to me if it's all computer generated random winners not fare there was a lady that won 10,000 that's what the staff said. This is a little casino in NE Ohio. 18 bucks for 2 jack n cokes served in plastic glasses. Ridiculous . Good luck selling 2 jacks for the price of a bottle in NE Ohio. My wife and I are older slot players. At our age we have free money to frequent the area casinos and play our favorite slots. I don't expect to always win but I do expect to see somebody win over the course of the afternoon and evening . It was the first Saturday since their opening and it was busy and the machines were getting a lot of play. We saw little ir no winning at all and heard a lot of complaining .Not a good first impression for most. We did enjoy the buffet but not enough to return for that alone. Coming from the Canton, Oh area , there are now a number of choices in every direction for gambling entertainment. We will go elsewhere .

over the past year my wife and I have lost hundreds of dollars every week , prompting me to urge the united steel workers to boycott all their establishments
during march madness on four consecutive swipes they graciously awarded me with earn points and get food comps in which it would have been cheaper for me to buy the food outright if I was hungry
e honestly feel like it would be less time consuming to walk in and throw a hundred dollars on the floor and leave
but to be fair only looser and liars come home from a casino in the first place they are in business to make money from you

I put on a review of my bad experience at this attraction and received a reply that I should call Manager R (who I am told is " Manager Rick" ). If you can get through at all, which is highly unlikely, his calls are screened, and I was told that he would never call me back. I am surprised, as I am a professional person and I would expect the manager to want to deal with any customer's concerns. Not so! It's OK if you never need assistance, but if you do, it is a nightmare getting through. I have now given up for good!

First of all I have spent way to much money at this casino which is my fault, so much that I reached Legend status on there Players Club card. I am so disappointed that I spent my money at a place that you do not get a great level of service for.
I went this evening to the players club cause the free play did not show correctly on my promotion I received in the mail. We'll first of all I had to wait while the women at the desk finished there personal conversation. I guess that may be me but when I learned how to treat person especially a customer is to drop my personal conversation and help the person standing in front of me. So when they finished and helped me a gentlemen in a suit came by and they looked up my card and said what I had was correct and that was it. And to be honest by the way they said I just ok and walked away and threw my players card away.
This casino also has a problem with there other staff waitresses are hard to get attention to just get a soda and if you go to the bar you get more attitude and they say you have to pay for it , which I did. I always give a tip to the waitresses which I probably shouldn't because they are so slow and is bad service. You should only get a tip for good service!
Even the people who service the machines are slow, I had my service light on cause the machine ran out of paper and I pressed the service light, sat there for about 10 minutes then went to the players club for help and was told they could do nothing, and just for me to wait. I ended up walking away and Leaving the $15 in the machine.
I also went to there buffet once and to be honest got the same attitude from people there when you ask for something from the carver station they are too busy talking with each other and not pay attention to the customer who is loosing there hard earned money there. And to be honest the food is bland tastes like just stuff from Sysco Foods not anything fresh or actually made there.
All in all they need to fire most of there staff and get people people who want to be there and are actually friendly! I will start saving my money from going here and take it to Presqual isle Downs in PA. It's not the newest Casino but much better service, they have drink stations to help yourself, they send me $200 a week in free play, and there machines are not at tight as the Rocksino.
I wish this casino was better I live in Macedonia so it is right down the street but they really just have a staff with a bad attitude that just wants your money and not give the sense of Thank you for it!

Would it be easy to get an Uber or Lyft to the casino or are we better off to stay in a hotel with the shuttle? The shuttle only appears to run until midnight and I don't know if we would want to leave that early so that is why I'm leaning more towards just using Uber but I also don't want to be stuck and not make it back to the hotel.

Hi Melissa, in October we stayed at a hotel down the road. We were going to the "Q" for the Eagles concert and then over to the Rocksino. We got a Lyft from Quicken Loans Arena to the Rocksino and then from the Rocksino to our hotel because we also stayed later at the casino. That was the first time that i had used a Lyft at home in Ohio, but we were able to get one. He got lost lol so we had to wait about 15 minutes, but other than that we didn't have a problem. That was on Saturday, October 20th. I don't know what a weekday is like. maybe you can call the Rocksino and ask them, they may know if you can get one easily.

Floor seats are all folding chairs and then they have bleacher seating in the back, I have heard they are changing a bit since the casino was bought by MGM

Because we are operated by the Ohio Lottery Commission, we cannot offer table games at this time. However, we have many fun and exciting machines to choose from! Some are even exclusive to us, like our Bernie Kosar and Michael Stanley machines!

The best seats in the house are the risers in the Back! Unlike other venues Hardrock Live crams concert goers into a locked seating system on the floor sacrificing comfort for profit. Hey, if that's your thing, great. The only two people happy for your choice to pay higher ticket prices to be uncomfortable are the performers on stage and Hardrock promoters.
