What a joke , terrible racing judges. Don’t waste your money, there are not above board. Clearly they just want your money , try other race tracks…

Thoroughly enjoyed the new MGM. Different than Hard Rock, but just as appealing and enjoyable.
Will plan on attending many, many times.
The staff that we encountered were helpful and courteous.

Did not go well. We miss the vibe when it was the Hard Rocksino. Many machines were broken and we only saw a server 2 times during the 5 hours we were there.

Tis casino was taken over by MGM. The slot machines were the same but the service much worse. The staff just wasn't as friendly. It was a Monday night so I know that they had less staff on hand but in two hours, not one staff member asked me if I wanted a drink or even said hi. I hope it improves. I like it's location.

Under MGM ownership, he Hard Rock Cafe is now known as the Tap Room. This needs to be changed in Trip Advisor. Two couples had lunch on a Friday during lent. We were looking for a fish sandwich, however, there wasn’t one on the menu. We both ordered a fish and chips dinner to split. It came with two very large breaded filets of fish. Half was plenty for each of us. It came with fries and Cole slaw. None of us liked the coleslaw. One couple upgraded the fries to onion rings and the other to sweet potato fries. The onion rings were outstanding and the sweet potato fries were very good. Overall, we felt that there were not enough different items on the menu. We will see as time goes on.

In between Cleveland and Akron, the location is ideal for attracting from both metropolitan areas.
Large slot machine selection.
Next to the Harness racing track, but not connected indoors. Go figure.
Just another casino to me. Nothing special here.

3 outdoor smoking sections but half the machines out of order?
That is terrible
VLT NOT Slots... not fun...tight bonuses
Huge inside...but hot tempreture...uncomfortable.
If you want to play.. Drive 2 hours to Presque Isle or Mountaineer.
You can smoke inside
And regular slots.. Good payout
What a joke this place is!

Majority of the machines were out of order. The buffet prices were $14.99 w/MLife card; however, the food was not that good. The fried chicken, mashed potatoes and soda(pop) was ok. The other food was tasteless and didn’t look appetizing. The MGM in Detroit and Las Vegas are much better.

Went there for a day out....the changeover is one big mess, more than half of machines are down, washrooms are dirty, no soap some no water, can't find paper towels, There is no excuse for the this, the MGM has been in business long enough to get the changeover done, shut the casino do all the changes, then reopen! The Tap; the food was terrible, a patty melt, two slices of rye bread, not grilled, onions not grilled, the meat two thin precooked burgers, not even good for my dogs, barely warm. Food was brought out literally two minutes after we ordered it. What is going on? All of the craft beers, were't the ones I would drink, no Dortmunder, noThirsty dog, no boston lager., all the beers loaded with fructose and light beers with chemicals, what a disappointing day out. The workers seemed someone quiet, not happy and bubbly as before, Won't be coming back any time soon! Heading down to the Jack Casino on Sunday.

Starting April 4th, 2019 only mLife cards are accepted at the MGM Northfield (formerly the Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park.)
All of the food places have been renamed and the casino space is unchanged as of 4/13. However, MGM in mailings says to expect some big changes. One that I saw was the number of new machines being installed last weekend. Almost 1/2 the floor was shut down for upgrades and new installations. Looks like MGM is aggressively implementing their Las Vegas style of Casino in the Cleveland - Akron area. My hope is that they will create a new theater with stadium seating. The current venues are all flat and it is difficult to see the performers.
