This building just appears as you drive around the corner. It is so fun to see this architectural wonder. It is showing a bit of age but still fun to take our out of town friends to see. We have never gone in the building.

We know the Longaberger family personally and have visit the basket on many occasions and have been in Dave private office the founder and Tammy the president who ran the company for many years. The interior of the build has furniture made of the finest wood as are their baskets. The handles weight 70 tons and are heated. It cost Dave over... More

I was having lunch at a local franchise restaurant when I struck up a conversation with two of the regular customers. Eventually, the topic of things to see came up and thus I found out about the Longaberger basketball and the building it emulated. It was a short drive and it was huge on the interstate and obviously much larger... More

The Loneaberger Basket headquarters is closed (but we did stop to have our picture taken) and hopefully the city will save it. Back taxes are due and I think a hotel along the highway would be a great use for the building. Hard to believe they were once a $900,000 Million dollar business.

Building now up for sale. Believe it is no longer open. OK to get pics of it. Not much other knowledge on it.

The Basket office building is abandoned, shut down.. The Longaberger Company has created some great products. No one is sure now however, what to do with this building.

I've driven by the "basket" several times. It's now vacant and the grounds are in disrepair with overgrown weeds encroaching. The exterior of the building needs to be cleaned and the "handles" repainted. Definitely a unique piece of Americana, but not worth going out of your way. Seriously would be a great feature of Abandon America or Life Without People.

It is a nice place to stop and look at from the outside. Since recently moving their corporate headquarters over to where the manufacturing plant is, the public no longer has any access to the interior. This is worth visiting if you are in the area to see or do other things. I would not make a special trip to... More

I took my grandkids to see the inside of this beautiful basket because they have always wanted to see it. I should have taken them sooner but it was one of those things that I kept putting off. You see I had worked at longaberger for 20 years and had watched it being built and was standing along with Dave... More
