This is the former headquarters of Longaberger Basket company, but the building has been sold. You can see this from the road or go into the parking lot to check out and take photos of this very cool building. You cannot go inside as it is closed, but the Longaberger homestead is about 20 miles east.

One man's vision now an actuality. An unfathomable work of architecture in a small town. The handles are high enough an airplane can fly under them. Now closed to the public but well worth seeing.

The large basket building is an architectural masterpiece. It is now for sale so I did not get to tour the inside. It is an incredible sight!

It's a cool looking building, but it's in the shape of a basket, literally. A few seconds after you see it you realize that in time it has to be knocked down because it's worthless to anyone but a basket marker. I think it might be a bit arrogant. Take it from someone with several baskets in their home, it's... More

It was an OK-OK experience. Nothing great. The building of big basket shape is the headquarter of the basket manufacturer. You may click a few snaps with the building from a distance. Or, you may watch the building while running through the adjacent highway. Nothing much to do here :-|

Being a Newark resident, I have to say that this has become one of the largest eyesores in our area. The exterior condition of the "big basket" is not good. It needs to be cleaned and painted.....to look like it is being taken care of. It is now a vacant building and the owners have not held up their end... More

We went by to take pictures. Read that they had sold this building but didn't expect that it was not yet occupied. Grounds have not been kept up so it looks sad. We got the picture we wanted.

An unique insight into a Made in America collectible. Dave Longaberger's dream come true. These baskets started out as work horses of the pottery industry that is part of that part of Ohio.

It is a "one of a kind" building. Very attractive. The grounds have not been given the same TLC as in the past. I was there four years ago.

This basket is a unique design office complex to house all the various offices for the Longaberger corporation, honoring it's parent company "Longaberger Baskets". It sits right along state route 16 and very visible to travelers just passing through.
