This place is overpriced and disgusting! My toilet is cleaner than this swimming hole! I would not even eat lunch at this place because it just appeared everything was filthy. NEVER EVER will go there again!!! I'll swim in my toilet first!!!

My children had a great time camping at Baylor Beach Park and swimming the entire weekend away. The sites were nice and shady. Activities were great from water features to paddle boats. Concessions were pretty good and fairly priced. Only down side - THE SHOWERS WERE VERY COLD! # days of cold showers is no fun!

We went here on a Tuesday and practically had the place to ourselves. The kids ages 9 to 17 and I all had a blast!! It is tons of swimming and tuckers the kids out fast! The big slide and rolling log were some of our favorites. It's nice to that you can bring along a cooler and pack a... More

The life guards are not helpful at all when you ask questions, never seen any of the staff walking around or doing anything. After the beach closes the only thing for kids to do is play basketball or volleyball , the play ground is on the other side of the beach by the water which is no where near any... More

This place is gorgeous! While just my husband and I are staying here (senior folks), this place is made for families, especially families with children. The beach area has the most amazing "dinosaurs", "turtles", a swing set with carousel horses (4), the "bucket" pole (buckets fill with water and then spill over onto swimmers), paddle boats and paddle bicycles, 2... When we showed up to check in they had no record of our reservation. It was the first day of the Memorial Day weekend. So we were out of luck. They don't send out confirmations so if they don't log in your reservation in the system and they are full they will send you away. On the positive and the... More

We have camped at Baylor beach for the last 3 years. We generally have 6-8 other campers with our group. Nice campground, but, we have decided we won't be back. The Mosquitos are terrible. We couldn't even stand to be outside around a fire at night.

Had a GREAT first visit and have been going back since! Took the grandchildren and they loved it. I was surprised at how inexpensive and GOOD the food was (better than packing a lunch). The cost for admission is also reasonable (low). Great place to spend a summer afternoon!
