Beautifully restored 28 room Victorian era home. In addition to the history and décor one might expect of such a home, there were surprises as well in the various incarnations of the home's past and exhibits of the era. The staff were pleasant and accommodating, especially on a Sunday. The museum is photo friendly. Plan on taking at least an... More

This mansion was beautiful. It contains 28 rooms and is furnished with period style furniture. The volunteer was so informed about the house. Plus they say it s haunted.

The quality of construction would be hard to duplicate today . We have high quality craftsmen in Holmes County that could do the job. Keim Lumber in Charm has the ability to match the woodwork in any type of wood you can think of . This house has a very interesting history. It is worth your time to visit.

Victorian House is not only interesting to explore but also beautiful. See the way the house was originally furnished. Imagine yourself living during this time and residing in this house. As you go in the ballroom, picture yourself dancing in a gown worn long ago. Some rooms can only be viewed from the hallway, while others you can walk in.... More

My husband and I decided to make an afternoon visit to Millersburg upon reading that the Victorian House (and the adjacent glass museum) were open on Sundays. We had spent the weekend in Amish Country, and nothing is open on Sunday. We specifically saved time to visit the house on a Sunday, only to discover that they were closed during... More

We came with a large group and were greeted by the staff. We toured each floor and room and there were guided on each floor to answer questions or tell you something about the rooms. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and there were Victorian dolls in period costumes that were about 4 feet tall and they were exquisite. We... More

The only place I know where I can find such amazing Victorian hats and lace curtains for my home. A pleasure to go through this house.

As a Host for the Holmes County Historical Society, the Victorian House is a true Victorian style home from 1902-1908 period. Self guided, it offers up some beautiful artifacts and gives an insight to the rudimentary but modern times of the day. Definitely if you are interested in architecture, you will love this 28 room home made into a museum... More

Wonderful change from the normal Amish Country visit. Just learning the history of the home and seeing the antiques was awesome and the stories that are behind some of the rooms antiques very intriguing. Our last visit was actually June 2011

Love old houses and this one didn't let us down. The craftsmanship in this home is outstanding. The society has really done an excellent job of restoring it and even includes photos/video of what it looked like before they got a hold of it. HUGE difference. So glad we toured.
