Having foolishly not read trip advisor before heading to Middle Bass Island we were suckered in by the lure of the St Hazards microbrewery.....'micro' being the operative word here - they only had one odd-tasting brew that a visiting brewer had made 2 months previously....More

St Hazards Resort on Middle Bass Island has been one of the WORST places I have ever stayed. They advertise their rental properties as Villas, however they are nothing more then brightly painted trailers that are completely disgusting and infested with bugs on the inside....More

There isn't alot of beach access but, more importantly, there are no beaches due to very high water levels in Lake Erie and Great Lakes, at large. Rumor has it that there are secret places to find beach glass on MBI but not... More
