There are walking trails, lovely views of Lake Erie and a very short but wonderful area to kayak. I recommend it for anyone who enjoys a leisurely paddle. You can even get out to the Lake thru the marina.

I love going here. Walking the trails are so relaxing and the rocky beach is amazing! There usually isn’t a whole lot of people either.

Took my kids there for a walk through the Lagoons, then we did some fishing. They have boat ramps and also areas to put in kayaks if you wish. Great place, we will be back!

Beautiful views this time of year at the Mentor Marsh. The birds, flowers and butterflies are all fun to see while taking a hike through the woods next to the Marsh.

The ground is a sandy gravel mix. If your pet is okay walking on that, then yes.

Mentor Lagoons directions posted by Sunil are right on point. It's pretty easy to find. If your looking for a more "beachy" area, I would suggest Mentor Headlands, the beach is really nice there. But either place is... More

Cuyahogo Valley NP (camping, biking, hiking) & Cell Service (5 Replies)
Our family is considering a visit to Cuyahogo Valley National Park this summer (in late July/early August) and are considering camping at the park. We would tent camp and prefer a site with electric service. We read that the campsite reservations site opens on May 1. How quickly does the campground fill up in the summer? We’re considering camping for three nights, and spending two full days at Cuyahoga Valley NP. Our family (dad, mom, and our teenage daughter) loves nature, hiking,...More
