This place is one of a kind. If you enjoy Christmas - you will love this place. My favorite was seeing the old Macy Christmas displays. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and loved when they shared the story of how the owners came to own or save the memorabilia. Slide at the end was so awesome- just like Christmas... More

Wonderful kitschy Christmas Museum filled with the personal collection of a man named Klaus with a beard like Claus. He has personally collected and crafted the displays. Highlight is being pushed down the department store slide from A Christmas Story. Lots of movie set memorabilia and NYC department store windows. I truly enjoyed it.

I took my parents here when they came to visit and it was a blast! Adults and older children would probably enjoy this the most. The slide at the end was so fun and seeing memorabilia from old movies I remember as a kid was so awesome. The owner is super involved and the staff is very friendly and helpful!... More

WOW- that's all you can say about this place! Christmas/holiday nirvana. Now.. there's plenty for the kids, but truthfully - it's probably more interesting for adults. The big draw here is the holiday MOVIE memorabilia, there's also old school games/toys, actual window displays from major dept stores in NY. The end of the tour takes you down a replica of... More

We decided to stop over to Castle Noel after seeing a brochure in our hotel lobby in Cleveland. It's just a short drive and so worth it! Definitely a must for any Christmas fan/Christmas movie fan/family/big kid at heart. It was mid-Nov. and this place definitely put me in the Christmas spirit. They have lots of fun movie props, window... More

We found Castle Noel very interesting. I was pretty impressed that this one guy came up with this entire collection. It's basically a Christmas Museum, with a walking tour of different Christmas displays and movie props. There wasn't really a lot of interaction, such as things you could touch. That was okay with us, but maybe not so much for... More

If you love Christmas - and Christmas movies - this is a place you MUST visit. Mark Claus (yes - that's the owner's real last name!) has accumulated a huge collection of Christmas movie memorabilia that is now displayed in this multi-level museum. He's also got window displays from some of the largest department stores in NYC for all to... More

Is this worth the time and money? Good question. It is pricey at $17 weekday and $18 weekend for all over 3. No discount for youth and seniors. As others have stated, reservations are a MUST!!!! Parking is very limited, so expect to spend time driving around looking for a spot. We had reservations and stood in line for several... More
