Visited the wolcott house today, loved learning all of the History attached. Almost a 2 hour your for $12, and the tour guide was very knowledgable and friendly.

Went on the ghost walk. Didn't see any spooks, but it was interesting and our guide was great. So glad they have different things to offer the public. I hear they put on a great tea as well!

My sister and I like to visit older homes like this. They gave a nice tour and it was interesting to hear the history of the house and people who lived there. I would recommend the tour if you like historical things.

Attempted to plan a wedding there and the staff is completely clueless. They put us in for the wrong date and then double booked our date and tried to squeeze two weddings in a half hour apart.

We enjoyed seeing the historic Wolcott House Museum and "history complex" which included a railroad station, salt box home, log home ,schoolhouse and church from the area. We both felt it would be a great place to take children to get a true feel for American and Ohio history as you see this with a local guide who is informed about the buildings.

My husband and I went on a guided tour on a Sunday afternoon. Currently, the guided tour hours are on Sundays; 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Cost was $5 for each adult. Our 1 year old son was free. Our tour guide, Sandy was wonderful. She was knowledgeable with the Wolcott history, but also the history of the era and the Toledo/Maumee area.

We spent an hour and fifteen minutes exploring the property. We were the only ones on the tour so we soaked up all the information and asked lots of questions.

The property and buildings were decorated for Christmas. Which added to the charm of the tour.

Would highly recommend spending a few hours at the Wolcott property. Especially, if you live in the area. There is rich history and wonderful items to look at. There is a small gift shop and ample free parking. Check the website for events and hours. The property is lovely with a garden and charming, historical buildings.
FYI: They accept credit cards. The church is available for weddings.

This is a nice museum complex offering 5 buildings. They offer guided tours and guides are very knowledgeable about the history and buildings. My guide Kathy was excellent and took me around the buildings on an individual tour as I was the only visitor at the time. Buildings consist of the Wolcott House, farm house, school house, train depot and a church. The church can be rented for weddings. Many of the buildings were brought here from other areas and were restored. Buildings are well maintained. Nice tour for those interested in restoration and history.

The Wolcott house ia supposed to be haunted and they do a fun Halloween walk though during the month of October! Make sure to make your reservations early or you won't get in.

Very interesting local history. Awesome mansion, and many out buildings. Went with a small group, which is much better than a school tour.
